Have you ever considered working for Donald Trump?

What about Marts mate George?

So explain yourself SB.

If those who prefer leave told as many lies and half truths as the remainers I would be constantly pulling them up too. If those who prefer to leave tried to hide the methods used on the run up to the vote as those who prefer to remain I would pull them up on that too.

I also don't defend anyone. Point out where I have if you disagree. Strangely enough you finally agree with me on Corbyn. But I constantly got verbally attacked by those who prefer remain for saying the same as you have now done. But strangely enough they have said nothing to you. Trying to work it out.

There is nothing wrong with calling both sides a bunch of twats. Because that is what they are.

I think Astute would be a master at dealing with the press on Trump's behalf.
Again explain yourself. Whenever I have mentioned Trump it hasn't been complementary. But you never mention it as you agree with me. You only pick up on what I say when you disagree with it.

The UK wants to take back control of its money, law, and borders. We will respect that," he said.

"But the EU also wants to keep control of its money, law, and borders. The UK should respect that."

Barnier added that Prime Minister Theresa May might instead offer to join a customs union with the EU, although that would prevent London cutting its own trade deals with other countries. May has ruled out a customs union and Raab said Britain still believed it could reach a deal to avoid a "hard border".

That bit from Barnier tells the whole story :wideyed:

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it the same media calling UKIP, Day of freedom of speech, Tommy Robinson etc racist.

So who's side are the media really on?

Or are they playing both sides?

Tommy 'Stephen Yaxley-Lennon Andrew McMaster Paul Harris' Robinson is one of few people still considered 'far right'. Proposing a £10 minimum wage is enough to make you 'hard left' though. Since Farage has openly expressed that he thinks Eastern Europeans are inferior 'quality', he actually can be labelled a xenophobe/bigot, not quite racist though he is close.

Why are you surprised that he wants what's best for them even if it's not best for us?

You've flipped back and forth between both sides a couple of times now and on here you've consistently been pro-Leave.

I have no problem with that but pretending otherwise is simply not true. There's been plenty of inaccurate posts on here about the EU that you seem to have missed, especially those describing it as a dictatorship - some of which you've even 'liked'.

  1. It's actually a very straightforward choice:

    Self determination, control and democracy
    or
Dictatorship, uncontrolled mass immigration and instability

The EU is in chaos. It's sinking and if we remain they will milk us dry.

    Vote leave. Vote freedom.

Well it’s pretty clear you aren’t left wing anyway - more a Blairite / Cameron dripping middle class liberal

How would you describe yourself?

A hybrid Farage-Partridge Liberal?

Common sense true conservatism with a hint of socialist especially on foreign policy

I have not flipped. That has been me agreeing with what has been said on both sides. You may be surprised but it is possible to see good in both remaining and leaving.

I do see it as close to a dictatorship. Especially with Juncker. Many in the EU want him investigated. But they can't remove him and he refuses to go. And if they did investigate him he would be in charge of the investigation. Is that right? Especially as you think people should be investigated for fraud.

I'm not. But others on here think it is right on what is happening and blame people who voted leave for everything.

I blame Cameron and the way the EU is run myself.

Cameron is the root cause of the current mess, little doubt of that. The Clown isn't far off though, penning articles for/against the EU then publishing one when he decided which would be more politically convenient.

The EU was never much of an issue for me-it surprised me how many people seemed to have resentment for it going off their comments. Who will be left to blame for the country's woes when we leave?

I'd like to see him investigated once he leaves office personally. I do think hereditary power of a monarchy is more akin to a dictatorship though.

And you have just contradicted yourself. So how could I have flipped between both sides but consistently been pro leave?

I suppose because I have been known to disagree with you at times that I must be pro leave. Just a shame you always ignore my pro EU comments.

I agree with all but the EU not being an issue. If it wasn't an issue nobody in their right mind would want to leave.

But why wait until then?

The right thing should be done ASAP. He should not have even got a top job with the EU. It wasn't a secret what he had done.

What I said was pro EU rants where insults get thrown at people constantly for no reason but voting leave and only considering lies from leave but never remain swung me towards leave. Yes this is certainly true. This is because I have looked more into how the EU is run because of comments made on here.

Look at it here. 2 years later and it is still happening. And many see it as OK to constantly have a go at me as I don't only have a go at leave.

It wasn't an issue for me personally and it surprised me how much it was for others.

As I’ve said before at the time I was in a team of 7 people all university educated all over 38 and all earning sizeable incomes. Six of us voted leave.

That’s the thing that gets me. Another leave argument being that the EU is an inward looking, self interested, self preserving protectionist organisation that we must leave, for that reason. Now we have all this faux shock, horror, anger and surprise that the EU is doing the very thing that all these people campaigned as a reason to leave. What were they actually expecting?

I was in a research group of about 10 scientists all of whom voted remain. Anecdotes prove nothing, the correlation between education and choice of vote was strongest of all.

I thought you are a teacher?

As for correlation between education and choice of vote that just makes you sound like an arrogant prick doesn’t it?

Possibly expected it to be a piece of cake outmanoeuvring 27 countries or that David Davis was better at negotiating than Henry Kissinger.

This is the problem when you are fed decades of spin that the Tories are the responsible, competent ones.

2 years ago I was a research scientist who since moved in to teaching. Facts don't care about your feelings G, pointing them out doesn't make me a prick any more than you boasting about your wealth.

Actually the latter part does.
