Being nimble and flexible is important though sick boy. What I meant is, for example, when the EU is trying to reach a trade agreement they have to consider the implications of no tariffs, quotas etc on each individual country and even regions within those countries. So, what might be fine for 26 nations could be detrimental to one country/region within a country, leading to a possible veto, delay or having to give way on other elements of the agreement.

The U.K. won’t have this issue so whilst I appreciate leverage is potentially (significantly) less due to our size in comparison with the block, this flexibility is beneficial in negotiations. Also there might well be elements of the current EU trade agreements that are currently detrimental to sectors, regions etc in the U.K, which we now have the chance to address.

I’m not for one minute suggesting negotiations will be plain sailing, however, I do see some of the positives as well as the negatives

I would imagine that the EU would have an agreed position that is based upon agreement amongst the 26 countries, the UK is not going to be in a position to be calling the shots here, as we’ve seen so far. This is regardless of a position on Brexit, it’s the reality of the situation.

where did I say I think it would be overturned and where have I said I wanted it to be?
Where have I said Labours policies would win them the general election?
Is this what you do when you're losing the argument Baz, make things up?
I said the Tories would win, I never predicted the massive majority they got but at no time did I say Labour would win. You need to make some more shit up Basil!!

I can't be arsed to look back...you were at least sympathetic to the cause of arguing against Brexit.

Let us start again though, you are deluding yourself in the second paragraph because you appear convinced it is all going to be the UK giving way. Deluded!

My whole reason for pointing out your delusion was your accusing me of the same...which I am at times, but you are at LEAST as deluded as I am - & you are deluding yourself again at the end thinking I am a herb

what would a positive attitude achieve? I'm being realistic.
I used to go in to every season thinking City will win something, really positive mindset, 1 FA cup, 1 promotion and a Checkatrade is all I've got to show for it. Why have we never won the league after all my positive thinking?
And we would be desperate because as I said, we would only have 13 trade deals in the event of no deal. Deals with the likes of Iceland and Israel. We will be losing 27 trade deals giving us access to 57 countries.
The EU don't have as much at stake, they're losing 1 trade deal, and the fall out from that will be spread among 27 member states. I really can't believe that I have to explain that.

Delusion in every paragraph Clint.

I've constantly argued against Brexit.
Still think it'd the wrong decision. That's not the same as wanting to overthrow the referendum.
And ten minutes in yo the second half Baz. Really?

Boris Johnson has accepted the very deal he stood up at a conference and said no PM should ever accept.

Good news, our chums in Sunderland have been screwed over. Turns out the promises Johnson made when he was up there on the campaign trail aren't going to be kept throwing fresh doubt over Nissans future there.
Chancellor Sajid Javid backtracks on Boris Johnson's pledge to Nissan workers
Ahead of the December general election, Boris Johnson vowed standards would be protected to Nissan staff in a visit to the region
The Chancellor has warned there will be no alignment with EU regulations after Brexit - despite a pledge being made in the North East by Boris Johnson that standards would be protected.

Still waiting for something I can do on Saturday morning I couldn’t Friday night. There must be some EU rule I can symbolically break?

Maybe I’ll make some shit sparkling wine and call it Champagne.

When Brexit happens, my dog with an EU pet passport will have more rights to travel than me with a British passport.

I watch events in my home country with increasing disgust and disbelief. I have dual nationality so not really affected personally yet, but that’s not the point. Place is a shambles.

We’ve been looking at possible scenarios for traveling to the EU with our dog. Should be OK this year but it seems there’s a possibility that you may have to pay duty on your dog when re-entering the U.K.

The main difference?

Politicians were always c*nts, it’s just (in the main) they’d pull their fuckhousery behind closed doors.

Now, you’re actually lorded and voted for...for being a c*nt.

That shit trickles down to the public, including those that used to pull their fuckhousery behind closed doors, that now don’t have to, because ‘being a c*nt’ is seen as sociably acceptable.

So now we’re surrounded by c*nts being c*nts, who are raising their kids to be c*nts.

Still another year really. Literally nothing changes this Friday except we become rule takers and not rule makers for a bit.
