What has he done for the City?

Three things about Mutton are huge

His ego
His Belly
His Mouth

Sadly his IQ is not

Power gets in the way but he has spent his whole life as a councillor! Deserves your respect as does the position! Oh no you get to decide who deserves respect

I remember when the Ricoh first opened the battle that the football club had with the council to erect the CCFC Crest, if they'd had their way all we would have got was a very small crest over each turnstile.. ...that about says it all as to how they felt about the club way back then..
Which party was it though, i have a feeling it was the tories

Unfortunately not...I just know it was a battle. in the end Paul Fletcher got a man an a crane one night, very late and had it put up (I nearly crashed my car on the way to work the next morning with the shock of seeing it there finally). I understand his theory was that once the crest was up it would be rather difficult to take it down. He did get his wrists slapped for it..You are correct about the road signs, they refused to put a football on any of the signs for the Ricoh....It's interesting how quickly the bloody parrots went up when the Casino moved in...not problem with that it seemed.
Yes the parrot did go up rather quickly.

No he hasn't he first got elected when he was 37.

Was he on ccfc's books as a youngster before he became a milkman?
Edited to add yes he was, I played against him while he was in his mid 30's and he was a quality footballer even then. His ball control was just awesome and his passing was pinpoint.

I believe in his day David Icke was a good goalkeeper as well.

I went to see Icke in brixton a couple of years ago. I hope he was better in goal than he was at speaking. I was very surprised he was such a poor speaker.
Just reading up about John Mutton. Had a falling out with Jimmy Hill!

As long as the council can see what SISU have done to the club and are trying to do something about it they have my backing

Idolised George Hudson, a proper centre forward but apparently he wasn't the best liked person in the dressing room. You don't need to be liked to be a good player.

He is not being confused with John Mitton is he, i certainly can't recall a Mutton at the Sky Blues during Jimmy Hill's days and we followed resevre and youth fixtures religously.
