The ‘wobble’ month (3 Viewers)

Only 2 of the games this month are against the current top 6? I see why you'd include Ipswich, they'll probably be top 6 by the weekend, just about (although this would still leave us playing only 2 of the top 6, albeit Ipswich twice, so 3 games). We've beaten 2nd, 3rd & 4th, all away, by an aggregate score of 9-2.
Not in such a congested and testing time frame though

I agree-it’s Hollywood or bust as there will be a few departures I would imagine if we don’t make it. The likes of Wright/Rudoni/Milan/Rushworth et al will be a tough ask to replace.

I think we’d be fine. Improved stature, players will want to come here. Our biggest loss will be Lampard if we don’t go up.

Getting ahead of myself massively as we won't do it

But I would absolutely piss myself if we ended up equalling or bettering that record 111 points that the Brummies got last season when their starting striker was worth more than pretty much every club in the division

The parachute thing means nothing if they aren't winning games. Everyone has been saying for a few weeks that Ipswich are the team to watch and they'll be in the top two but it seems it was based on a short good run which has culminated in losing to Oxford. If they don't win tonight then maybe everyone will decide that they aren't actually that brilliant.

I am worried about the match on Saturday and am predicting a 2-2 draw but I think we have a decent chance to win...

As for a wobble, it may well happen this month. We are a bit depleted and we have a lot of matches, but this is the same for most teams at this time of year. I think we'll dro psome points but be broadly fine

The better half said the other day, "Oh, I just bumped into 'big Mick' in town. He's put on a fair bit of weight,I tell you. He makes you look thin!"

I'm now pondering if this wasn't quite the compliment that I first thought. 😁
I have the opposite problem. I lost most of my wobbly bits and got constant remarks on how well I looked. But my new partner is only 5'7" and is petite. So now I don't have the wobbly bits to help me keep warm when winter arrives and she makes me look big again 😆

Think we’ll be ok, Asante would of been a huge loss if rudoni still wasn’t fit but it’s just a straight swap, hopefully wrights back on the bench or else no attacking options is a bit of a worry, get to January and couple more bodies in the door we’ll be fine,

Definitely our hardest set of fixtures so far, possibly the entire season, but we're playing with such confidence it's for everyone else to worry about playing us.

That said, I do think we'll drop a few points, but no one else seems to be able to get a run going, so think the points gap will still be a healthy one come January.

Just hoping that Rudoni is ok (seems to have gone quiet after the flurry of posts about him on Sunday), and we don't pick up any daft YC's on Saturday or any more injuries, that could put a spanner in the works.

Crazy when you think we've just won 11 out of 12. And we have 28 games left to find potentially 13 more.

I swear if it doesn't happen for us this season I will need to find a new hobby because it would just be too much for me to deal with.
I had this very thought earlier today. While I won’t believe it until it happens, if we don’t go up now…
Fucking hell. I can’t think too much about either scenario.
