The ‘wobble’ month (1 Viewer)

It will be a very wobbly month if the referees allow goalkeepers to scope the ball up outside the box whenever we are on the attack.

Was always going to happen. Players playing too many minutes and looking knackered.

Preston threw on half a team and it paid off.

Will happen in the next 6 games.

Limp to January and see what happens in the window. We should still be top 🙏🤞

As a long standing city fan used to disappointment I take great comfort that unless we have bottom 6 form for the whole of the rest of the season we will at the very least have some play off action this season

Its clear FL needs help and bringing in a few quality signings will happen. i dont see panic or worry just frustration that things have not gone our way over the last 2 games. But thats football, we shouldn't search for a formula, just go back to what got us winning games.

Stay solid, stay together and keep creating chances and the goals and points will come soon enough.

Clean sheets would be nice too.

Was always going to be the case, so many of us had earmarked this run as the trickiest of the season so the fact we’re slowing down a bit shouldn’t be a surprise. 4 from our next 3 sees us at 48 at the half way stage, which is still on pace to win the league.

3 of our next 4 are at home. Its quite possible we could get 7-8 points minimum from the next set of games

If we can win the next two home games we’ll have 50 points at the halfway mark. That’s a realistic target and a brilliant result. Anything away vs Southampton a bonus, would happily take a draw. We really don’t need to be as good in the second half.

I think we underestimate how big a factor confidence plays in football. Just look at Liverpool this year. Important to get a result against Bristol City to cast away any doubt.

We've only played 9 home games, 14 still to play.
Some others have played 10 or 11.
Our great start has put us in a fantastic position.
If we can keep our home form strong we'll be fine for the autos.
