My worry is without Wright I guess Simms starts as striker. This will probably mean that BTA starts on the bench as Simms will need to be subbed. Therefore Eccles plays as 10 again which, although he’s a good player, he’s not a 10.
"Worry"

Simms has played with BTA plenty so not really sure what youre going on about

Consiracy No 1................. Wright ain't as injured as said but we told Poch he is, gives him 2 weeks off to get fit, come back in for the run-in, performs well and still gets in the National side for the WC. We give him a bonus for staying and everyone wins??

There’s 0 chance Wright would voluntarily skip the final international break before a home World Cup

Another 40 yard volley from BTA would be the cherry on the icing.
I was thinking about this the other day, BTA hasn’t really scored any long range bangers this season has he?

Maybe Sheff W? I can’t really recall if that was outside the box or not - nonetheless, it was a great finish.

I think he can but why would Simms need subbing?

It’s a bit of a blow if Thomas, Rudi and Wright are all out because that’s pretty much the spine of the team. It will be important for FTT and Grimes to play well but, as they are among our most consistent players, I’m sure they will.

I think it will be a score draw.
Onyeka has played 3 games for us 😂

Would be a big ask for him especially if Wright is out for more than one match.

Why though? He’s played 90 mins before, there’s no indication he can’t do it. He did it two games ago fo example.

Swansea's home form is good and this wont be an easy game but they have typically not performed well against the teams sitting above them.

They have failed to beat any team currently in the top 6 and whilst they have managed to get a point each out of Hull, Milwall and Southampton, these all came in the early stages of the season and since November, they have racked up losses to Ipswich twice (no shame in that though), Milwall, Hull and of course, us.

In fact, their form against the top 10 is not great having only managed wins against Wrexham and Watford. They are tricky to beat but their hunting ground is deffinately the teams in the relegation race having done the doubles over Blackburn, Pompey, Oxford and Sheff Weds.
