Swansea fans definitely aren’t still salty about losing Grimes!

It's not 'fans' it's a fan.
I'm sure there are others but people extrapolating the opinion of a few roasters on social media and applying it to the whole fanbase is ridiculous.

I'd hate to be lumped in with sky blue twitter for example. The fact they make this place look sane really is quite some going.

There is a whole thread on their forum about him and this fan's view seems typical.

At least now Grimes isn't holding them back they can get back to challenging for promotion like they used to with err he played for them.

He was brilliant for them
He’s been brilliant for us
He is a defensive midfielder / quarterback kind of player
As our team has progressed he hasn’t stood out as much as he did even 12 months ago
However he’s a brilliant player for his position at this level

Look at what's been written about O'Hare on here when he wasn't here for even half the time Grimes was at Swansea.
My Blunt supporting mate actually sent me a pic of him with O'Hare the other day. He said he asked Cal if he hopes Cov do well if they go up and he said "what do you think?"

Dunno how to infer that - John Dawkins who is quite clearly his mate claims he supposedly wants us to do well despite how much he has been boo'ed since he left but I cannot see him hinting at that being the case to a Sheff U fan

I’m trying to think of an equivalent for us and there isn’t one really is there?
Our better players that have moved on we’ve given them our best and been thankful for what’s been
Maddison
Wilson
McCallum
Ohare
Hamer
Perhaps the only one is Ohare but not really and he wasn’t sold was he he was free

No it was told to me like it was said in a way he absolutely did not want us to do well.

We sang a song laughing about Dion Dublin breaking his neck

He looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him up when he was that defending that corner at Bramall Ln the other week and the away end was singing 'Callum O'Hare it could have been you' :ROFLMAO:

Did notice that game the other week was the first time he has played against us since leaving he has not even made an attempt to acknowledge us

Fans have real issues seeing themselves as a smaller club. I'm not sure it matters much as outside the super clubs it all goes in cycles anyway but basically if fans see a player moving what they see as 'sideways' even if its fairly obvious to people outside of that support that it isn't, then they don't like it. Ultimately Grimes has been proven to have made the right call, which probably pisses them off even more. O'Hare however... hahahahaha

Dawkins isn't his mate but yes Cal still wants us to do well

Dion is / was a proper legend here and if you listen to his story , he didn't want to leave but was heavily persuaded

Haji only missing tomorrow is massive

Looking like (bar a shite injury tomorrow to someone) that we will have a full compliment to tackle the final 7 games

That is huge to have for the run in, Boro missing players like Hackney for basically all of it, Ipswich without Philogene etc too

honestly i dont think there is, 400 games and captain, to move to a team in the same league, its pretty wild we got him, for the price, and mid season.

He left for the money and the assumption they'd go right back up, he got the money alright but will now be stuck in this division for the foreseeable.
