I'm calling it now. The team that wins this match will go up.

For the first time this season I'm starting to take Wycombe seriously re: autos. A new owner means they can spend some £££s in the Dec/january window to bolster their squad.

Will take a point now but if we go ahead then lose/draw, I'll be gutted.

From their forum;

“Exactly the sort of team we struggle against - fast, physical and direct.
Like last season, I'm not looking forward to this one”

We are the least direct team I’ve seen all season!?

Point would be a good result with how little goal threat we have in the team at the moment

If we get an early goal they’ll fold with the crowd on their backs. I’m looking forward to it Marra.

We're not really fast. We are definitely not physical. We aren't direct.

I'd like to slap £1,000 down on a City win, but no doubt SBT Bookies won't be running yet again! :emoji_rage::emoji_rage::emoji_rage::emoji_rage::emoji_rage::emoji_rage:

We play games like this (good team away) differently than others. Ask Portsmouth fans for example what they think of us from our 2 away games there in the last 2 seasons and they’d say the same.

I'm going to Gillingham with a few Kent based Cov fans. Will try and infiltrate the away end with our Cov flags and Jimmy hill masks. Should be interesting

Well Walsh’s goal was two of those.

We are a lot better team than many on here give us credit for

6-0 Sunderland - us to have a 1000 shots, Lee Burge has a blinder and saves all of them, Willis and McNulty to score hattricks with Sunderland’s 6 shots on goal

It’s unrealistic to think we would have 1,000 shots and every one would be on target.

Everything else makes sense.

They have a nasty trip down to Gillingham for a cup replay tomorrow night. Although it's not a priority for them, Parkinson has had such a patchy start in terms of results and performances I don't think he dare play a weak side, or he will get pelters (a new favourite word!). Hopefully Willis will aggravate his injury, McNulty and others will all get crocked. I'll take any little advantage we can get.

"Pelters" is in common use here in the Caledonian Badlands. Some great words in the Scots vernacular.

What a weekend it would be if we beat Sunderland away and W**ps lose at 'home' to Agen.

Ever since they changed the Bowel Cancer test you get after the age of 60 the bags to Hoy have diminished in volume?

I’m more in hope than comfort with this game, unless Bakayoko can have a “Charlton” day I don’t see where we will worry Sunderland up front, definitely fingers crossed with this one.

we play better against teams that have a more expansive game than a back 6 all over 7ft so it could be a similar game to last year - their pitch is nearly as good as ours

Now they've got Parkinson in charge I'm not sure how expansive they'll be. His previous Bradford team were very much long ball merchants.

They made 5 changes from their last game, apparently Willis is injured. In the opening 90 mins they had 4 shots with none on target.
