Not quite everywhere but your away support is very good
Good at what? Standing still and being silent?

There's usually a fair few of them but fuck me they are quiet.

Coventry is a pretty large tough city thats had its fair share of historical set backs ..
A small minority might care about words , let's remember one of your fans shouted at a statue so fragility definitely is a thing up north too

P.S we usually sell out millwall

I saw a mackem trying to tell 2 coppers what a bad man Jimmy was on Friday as I made my way to the casino about 7.15pm.

The fella copper was laughing but the girl copper was looking at him if a Martian had just landed. They've got some proper weird supporters.

I dont think any Sunderland fans hate coventry, not in the sense of hating newcastle. May be a bit more to the fixture than if we were playing a typical club like Hull or Preston for example, but nothing more to it than that. Coventry fans can walk around Sunderland city centre and drink in any of Sunderland's bars with no issues at all. No one got attacked yesterday, the worst thing is someone got booed walking past a whether spoons and some random bloke shouted jimmys in a box. If people think thats intimidating and scary then I suggest you avoid ever going to Millwall away or anywhere abroad.
I've been everywhere in England with absolutely no issues, apart from last night. I imagine it's extremely intimidating for teenage girls to be shouted at in their faces by numerous adult males. Let's hope your wife/sister doesn't ever get the same treatment.

It’s fair game though apparently..You know after all those Cov fans attacked those elderly disabled families with their kids a few years ago and lobbed bags of shit down from above with coins, missiles, glass bottles the lot.

Weird that in this day and age with CCTV and everyone owning mobile phones nobody caught any of it…Almost like we live in a make believe world…

The fact that they’re so bothered by it still just shows how insignificant they are.

100000% agree with you. Seems theres zero CCTV or phone coverage of all the Coventry fans being picked off one by one last night.

Saw lots of weird stuff last night masquerading as 'banter'. Hilarious most of it. It was like Royston Vasey hight street on a Friday night. Best pre match entertainment since Sonia at Highfield Road.

On real incident was by the coaches after the game Small group of Sunderland fans goading city fans sucking on vapes before boarding the coach. Not surprisingly they got a reaction and there was a bit of a scrap. One Sunderland fan with two young girls got caught up in it and they were sobbing. Quite rightly he was furious, but naturally we got the blame. I can forgive him that, not a nice situation, but this is how it always is - it's always us and never them.

Still, most Sunderland fans are sound.

Most social media posts from neutrals are saying its the greatest “limbs” and “roar” of all time.

Well it was, not denying that. Scenes at the end were mental. During most of normal time though, was surprised how subdued it was for long stretches.
We were s**t mate thats why. We haven’t played defensive like that at all, all season. It worked in the end but a lot of fans have saw that sort of script many many times before and it usually doesn’t end well for us.

TalkSPORT and fans coming on talking about one of the best atmospheres known to man!

Completely forgetting that was the case for the first 10/15 minutes and 3 minutes at the end.

Whilst there’s some truth to purposely playing defensively, it’s not what you’ve done all season and also it’s because we made you play that way. You’ve had some fortune.

100%, we were s**t both games. However, i’d rather win being s**t than playing well and losing.

It what matters ultimately. But generally hearing about your gaffers tactical genius is utter bullshit. 8/10 times based on the 2 legs, we’d have hammered you.

Either way, neither of us are as good as Sheff U and it pains me to say that too

Why do your lot dislike Sheffield United?

They're just like everyone else. They have their dickheads, but so do we. Their forum is strange, but many internet forums are.

I lived there for a bit; it's a bit insular (which is part of the reason they have very good local support), but not unwelcoming in the main. Never had a problem being a Cov fan there.

Why do your lot dislike Sheffield United?

There's a dislike of Sheffield United primarily because in the SISU days, there was a protest at the Ricoh Arena during a match vs Sheffield United and the game got disrupted.

During the holdup, (i think) there was an altercation in the stands where a Cov fan went through the segregation and floored a Sheffield United fan.

Basically the Sheffield United fans saw the whole saga as a targeted effort to disrupt the game and scupper their promotion (which was never the case) and there has been a bit of bad blood ever since.

There's also been other minor issues such as two of our best players signing for them in recent years.... and their manager making some critical comments about CCFC.

I don't particularly mind them personally...... my one minor gripe would be the media's insistence that they have some kind of inhospitable fortress at Bramall Lane with a hostile atmosphere, when in reality its pretty tame (great away day though at both Sheffield clubs)

I have no qualms in saying i'll be supporting them on the 24th....!
