Haji goes up to £11m
Simms up to max £8.5m
Onyeka is £8m

€11m £9m IIRC for Haji.

I’d hope Onyeka isn’t £8m that’s what they paid for him.

I'm not sure on the Onyeka fee, i think i did read about £8 million. The other 2 are a touch out though, more so the Wright one.
I can't see anything for Wright that has add ons as anything more than £2 million, which would take him to a max of £9.7 million.
For Simms, everything i've found suggests £8 million is the absolute tops. Promotion will be one of them, no idea if he's hit everything to make up the maximum amount.

They wouldnt expire until their contract does
I don't think King would get into open ended agreements of that kind, he's a very shrewd negotiator. I've got a feeling he said within two years at one point but I don't remember. Haji for example is signed through 2027 with an option on top and the fee was reported to be £7.7m.

ps. Yes here it is

Think he cost £10m but any bog standard player from another PL side with a longish contract or anyone joining a PL side will cost that at a minimum

Onyeka? €10m he cost Brentford. Which tbf is £8.7m now but don’t know what the exchange rate has been doing the last four years. It’s not a huge amount in the long run but as he’s a lot older and not near their team any more I wouldn’t want to be paying what they did.

Adjusting for inflation it’ll almost certainly be an 8 figure sum.

As far as top flight transfers are concerned £8 million’s a modest fee.

Rumours before he signed were £7-8m would secure him. £8m is modest but they’ve been trying to offload him for a couple of seasons and he’s got a year and an option left.

Because they’re knocking on the door of Europe and have moved on. He did well enough in the Bundesliga last season to justify the fee imo.

OK? I’m literally just passing on what the reports were. I’m not getting into this weird defence mechanism people have on here about him again.

Not arguing with you, you agree that £8m isn’t a big fee as far as Prem transfers go.

If the article is accurate then the clause has expired.

Excellent work Doug.

If Haji Wright is still in our top 3 most expensive transfers come August we might aswell not bother trying to match Derbys total.

id expect 70-80m invested in the playing side as a minimum
Spurs are shite and their squad cost over half a billion. It's not how much you spend, it's how cute you are in identifying the perfect fits, in terms of both ability and character, to complement the team.

I definitely won't be judging the recruitment based on the outlay.
