It's a good idea, by 2015 the club is hoping to be back in the Championship maybe even the Premiership (it's a long shot).

There is probably an agreement in their contracts of a possible extension if needs be, however for some of the players that can't cut it in the league(s) above we can just run out their contracts and away they go, rather than us having to hold on to them and wasting wages for 3/4/5 years.

what do you want? 8 year deals for everyone?

it could workout great,if we get promoted we will need to get rid of alot of players anyway

Sign a player for 12 to 18 months=lose player for nothing at end of contract.

Sign a player for 2 1/2 years=club shutting.

Sign a player for 4 years=he will sit back and collect the money for no effort...waste of wages

Also if we get promoted we could end up with players nobody wants which equals a huge squad and no room for the right players. We are doing the right thing IMO given our circumstances.
