We were better then them, they made us work for the win but they were second an in good form and at home, excellent 3 points and opened a gap from second and a gap on the playoffs, international break now to rest and get players ready to go again plus we will have Rudi back!.

Attack this run of games till Jan to strengthen our grip at the top and then a few additional players in the Jan window to get ready for an exciting 2nd half of the season, up the city! Up the super Frank and up the SBA!

His post match interview was surprisingly bitter imo. Basically tried to say we weren’t a pure footballing team. As far as I’m concerned we are both able to use set pieces and play proper football. Being brutal, it’s a slight advance on what he brought to us tactically.

I’m sorry but trying to make out were some long ball specialists with only the long throw up our sleeve is pretty sour from MR.

They barely lay a finger on us and we were solid and had some decent chances.

Today was classic Robins, slow to react and too
Passive from them.

Thank God we didn't sell MvE in the summer. Not only is he the best RB in the league, the goals we've scored from his throws must be stacking up now.

Home after my first away day of the season. I just... I just fucking love football.

Pints in a new town (Stone)

Got to meet several Stoke fans, and all of them were sound as fuck

Good standard of stadium, and every employee I interacted with was in great energy and humour

Utterly fucking incredible atmosphere in the away end, barely shut up the entire game then blew the roof off at and after the goal

Just an utterly brilliant day start to finish, this is why I love this hobby and why it dominates my life.

On the pitch: I do not have enough superlatives for JDS, he has gone from being a liability to one of our key players in record time. Grimes was sensational, MVE superb yet again, Torp in top form. It was an evenly balanced match between two very well set-up teams but ultimately we were set up perfectly to nullify their battle plan and won because of a moment of utter genius from one of our best players

Up the fucking sky blues 🩵

Great result today. Good to see us going with an attacking formation from the off, showing no fear.
I thought we were the better team first half. It was a lot more open 2nd half but they only really had a couple of half chances.

Thought the back line were very good, another clean sheet, against what has been a free scoring side of late.
Toss up between JDS and MVE for MOTM. Grimes quietly goes under the radar every game but he is our player of the season so far for me.

Brilliant finish from EMC, hope he didn't take too much of a hit for his troubles.

Have just heard MR after match comments, thought they were a little salty to be honest, i think Stoke played like the away team at times.
We were never going to find it easy to play the type of football we like to against the best defence in the league, especially when they pack so many bodies behind the ball.
We are far from just a set piece team, we just did what we needed to do, but i'm sure he knows that.

So good to be going into another break in a great position.
Looking forward to having Rudoni back, we miss him.

Must be a bit annoying for him, watching the team you put together showing you how you should of played them, don’t think he really knew his best formation with us,but to be honest, who gives a shit, brilliant performance

That's a very salty interview.

Robins was usually very fair in post-match interviews. Think there's a fair bit of bitterness in there.

Proper butthurt interview trying to downplay the football we play. We are a significantly better team than Stoke and we are a brilliant team to watch just generally.

I don't think Robins thinks much of Lampard tbh so if we could stop trying to get Frank to glaze him before every single game vs Stoke that would be great. It's done now, its cringe.

What an outstanding away performance. Robins is frankly talking rubbish.
We controlled the game largely, 2nd half little end to end in parts, but they created nothing.

They are in false position, data says so and today showed it also. We just look so strong - unbelievable

welcome back Rudoni.

MVE and JDS both outstanding today.

I think we were good for the win today. Stoke didn’t have many chances. I don’t think the Manhoef one was actually a good chance, it looked to me like it was out of his reach and bounced off his head, without him knowing anything about it.

We. Are. Very. Good.

As the YouTube video posted on her shows we are aren't what people would say a pure footballing side. We are just good at enough to be far better than most teams

I may be wrong but I don't think Mark Robins shook Frank's hand at the end of the game....also saw Frank tell someone to fuck off as has he walked off the pitch (after clapping our fans).
Mark Robins was great for us but I never lose sight of the fact he applied for the Stoke City job while still our manager.

His comments about us ‘slicing Johansson’s chin’ are odd. He’s just hurting after the result, but he’s better than those types of comments.
