I may be wrong but I don't think Mark Robins shook Frank's hand at the end of the game....also saw Frank tell someone to fuck off as has he walked off the pitch (after clapping our fans).
Mark Robins was great for us but I never lose sight of the fact he applied for the Stoke City job while still our manager.

Thank God we didn't sell MvE in the summer. Not only is he the best RB in the league, the goals we've scored from his throws must be stacking up now.
I'm also glad we didn't (I always felt we need two good full backs for both sides as it's a physically very demanding position).

But IF he had, I think the extra game time for KKH would have seen him settle into the side and be showing his worth too. Maybe not offering quite as much as MvE, but certainly proving he's a good player.

KKH was one of the most highly rated full backs in the division last season, a good signing imo. MvE is the best full back in the division though, easily.

Another excellent away performance & if Haji had turned up , we might have won more convincingly ?
Solid throughout, with superb support ( could of been a home match because of the noise ) & topped off , with a class goal

Read their forum and some of them feel hard done by the ref, felt they were the better team and really hate Frank. Can’t understand their delusional mentality and what they were watching.

Thought it was a very hard fought contest and chances were at a premium while the ref was so-so for both sides. It was always going to be a 0-0 or take a moment of magic to win it.

Bitter from them lot including MR afterwards, unfortunately. I guess this was their big day out against high-flying Cov only for it to end like that. Oh well, at least they finally decided to bring some more home fans for a change...

I get the point but in fairness he did set up Torp for the shot that was just tipped over the bar.

I'm a massive MR fanboy and because we won might sway my opinion but today was a great example of the difference.

There is a lot more to it but the best reason I can give after beers is Lampard has taken the breaks off.

Robins built it but Lampard is bravely throwing caution to the wind.

Must be a bit annoying for him, watching the team you put together showing you how you should of played them, don’t think he really knew his best formation with us,but to be honest, who gives a shit, brilliant performance
Exactly this. He’s sour because FL is showing him what he could’ve done with largely a team that MR built with a few exceptions. Nothing wrong in using weapons in your arsenal like long throws (even the PL does it now). I like the fact that we were able mix things up, nullify their threats and win a scrappy match. This is where MR wasn’t very good at, sometimes slow to react and would always resort to excuses after a tough loss. I still laud and respect MR’s achievements and would certainly support a statue being built in his honor. But we’ve moved on, need to keep our foot on the gas and continue to separate ourselves from the chasing pack.

Let’s just see if Frank can get us one kick away from the Prem before we run down MR shall we?

And I’m a fan of Lampard. But given what he did for us I just think any criticism of Robins is not justified.
He's got Stoke second after avoiding relegation last season , he's doing an incredible job there .
They will fall away but won't be anywhere near relegation but we've seen us set up and play and get results like Stoke did today but we are now a very good side and squad that find ways to win games
