Lots of options and competitionDoes Asante come back in the 10 or in for Simms or wright..
Wright just missed an open goal from 1 yard
Haji has to score the header
Of those 20 isn't it 13 at home and 11 away? I guess we can now rotate the front 3 every game pretty much, preferred front 3 get 60 minutes at home, the second set 60 minutes away? Does that keep everyone fresh enough and give everyone a chance to hit some form?
It was certainly a much easier header to score than the one Simms had previously that produced a good save that he got pelters for on here.It was a bad miss and definitely should’ve scored, but to think there were 2 bigger missed chances is crazy.
I can’t complain at the result, Stoke on another day could’ve scored 3-4 in the 1st half.
Although I get the frustration from Lampard, we were the better team in the second half!
Think he’s back for Saturdayany idea how far off torp is?
he's been the difference for me this season, and it's clear we are missing him massively.
We’ll be fine, Leicester won’t know what’s hit them SaturdayTold myself I didn’t really care about this result before kick off but getting a bit sick of not winning and the severe lack of goals.

Why is bad form more likely to stick around than good form?I agree. The goals have dried up and it's a big concern.
In the early part of the season we were scoring around 3 goals a game. If we could have kept that up we would have scored 25-27 goals in the nine games since the beginning of December. We have actually scored 7.
Only in the Birmingham match, which we lost 3-2, have we scored more than one in any game in that period.

The form will stay as it is if we have a relegation quality squad, we don't have one so it won't. Our earlier season form of winning nearly every game would stick around if we had a team stacked with top class players, we don't have one so it didn't.It won't necessarily but it's been going on for nine games and there is currently not much sign of things improving. The hope is that, with Torp and BTA back and the new signings, we will soon turn the corner.
Mank Lampins or Fark Rompard would be next level.

What we have is a top 6 squad that really outdid itself for a big chunk of the season. Performing like one will be enough to get us over the line.
Will be on the bench Saturday. As will Torp
A King Charles 1st post decapitation would show more heading prowess than Hadji. He doesn't know how to head a ball, he just lets it hit him instead of directing the ball into the goal.
A Mick Ferguson or Colin Stein would have buried that.
He's cost us a playoff final and now a result today.![]()
certainly a lot better than it has beenso we could start with Torp, Asante, Wright, Sakamoto and Minni all on the bench. Not too shabby.
It's easier to be crap. Why is bad form more likely to stick around than good form?
Guess we're going down then. It's easier to be crap.
There was a bit of flippancy there, but I reckon some truth, too.Guess we're going down then.

He also earned us an fa cup semi final if your are highlighting single moments in games. It is becoming a witch hunt now among the fans. A section behind me slagging him off all game then sing his song after he hits the post. It's at the point now I wouldnt blame him if he gives the ssssh sign to the fans after he scores. He doesn't know how to head a ball, he just lets it hit him instead of directing the ball into the goal.

Even after Lampard explained why we press teams like we do, we still have idiot fans demanding Wright chase after every single player who has the ball.We have some very fickle fans with certain lines they trot out about certain players at the first opportunity.

He said it after that game but it stands for them all. Why would we waste energy constantly chasing a goalkeeper when they just pass it round the striker to their defender. Utterly pointless.Wasn’t that only after the Ipswich game ? we sat off them a bit, other games we’ve pressed really high and quick and it’s worked, like our centre halves if you put them under pressure they struggle,
Because teams shit at playing out from the back will give you the ball close to goal.He said it after that game but it stands for them all. Why would we waste energy constantly chasing a goalkeeper when they just pass it round the striker to their defender. Utterly pointless.
Now we're finished with the Cup, it looks like Ipswich are going to be the only ones in the top 6 to play extra games in the Cup.
It means the likes of Preston, Millwall and Watford could put more pressure on them, having been knocked out like Boro and us.
I know Ipswich have a bigger squad, but we know only too well how a Cup run can impact the League form, so hopefully it can happen to them.
