With sky diving you get a reserve chute - With a thin squad you don't get much in the way of reserve at all.
So in that case, yeah it's a good analogy if you want to view sky diving as precarious.

Then we shouldn’t be running training sessions.

I am curious what kind of a team Stoke will put out. They seem to have possibly got out of their slump with two good away wins in the last two games, so I am not sure if that effects the way they would approach this match.

Trying to look at a comparable game while he was here, he would definitely make some changes (Wrexham, Oxford) for lower league opposition but when we last had a home tie against another Championship team it was full strength (Derby 2022, no I don't remember it either).

Midlands today ( last night because every story is based in Stoke ) would have you think that Stoke is a no go area because of snow ?

If I recall correctly, we beat Stoke away in the 3rd round of the cup on our way to our famous win in 87. However, I’m really not bothered about the cup this year and want us to focus on the league.
