I'd take Evans, add a few fireworks to the current situation why not we are on a crash course with oblivion as it is!

I'm a fan of TMs, and don't think sacking him is the way forward. But I have to admit, I am getting a little nervous. Feel that tonight is a must win game in many respects. What did Aidy Boothroyd say? 1.6 points per game for play-offs? We're probably up towards 2.0 now with the games left (no calculator handy). Hard to see championship winning form for the rest of the season. But I'd be happy with a steadying of the ship and starting again next season. The youngsters have an extra year under their belts, and maybe a few of the right players fall into place. I'm starting to think that the change in loan system was where we went wrong - not realising the impact until it was too late. Still, I struggle to see what Steve Evans can bring to the table that will alter this season.

Evans would keep us up with this squad, doesn't mean I see him as a messiah but at the moment we just need to look to be staying in this division, the nearer we get to the Conference trap door the more nervous i get with this lot owning us.

Are you that rather scruffy chap that serves the canopes at half time? Please spruce yourself up for the next game.

Just so you know everyone in catering thinks you're a c**t to so you get bogey canopies. I feel for you really because you get the double whammy given that you're Tim's taster to make sure his food hasn't been poisoned. No wonder he's lost weight.

I'm thinking Mowbray tried to resign a couple of games ago but was persuaded to stay by Venus, I think Evans was waiting in the wings to come in, thats why he was in the directors box at the previous home game?

Sounds ideal especialy the tax offences should fit in well with sisu

Stephen J. "Steve" Evans (born 30 October 1962) is a Scottish former footballer who is a Head Coach who was formerly the Head Coach of Leeds United. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Evans played professional football for Bolton Wanderers, Clyde, Albion Rovers, Ayr United, Hamilton Academical and St Johnstone until a knee ligament injury ended his playing career at 24.

After his retirement he became a manager. Prior to taking charge at Crawley Town, he managed Stamford and Boston United, the latter on two separate occasions.

A controversial figure, whilst manager of Boston United he was successfully prosecuted for tax evasion.[2] However, in charge of Rotherham United, he led the club to two successive promotions. He left the club in late September 2015. On 19 October 2015, Evans replaced Uwe Rösler as Head Coach of Leeds United, before being sacked in May 2016.[3]

I have no idea who he is without doing a quick google search. My interest in all things football has dwindled to practically nothing.

Actually, Evans has a far better record than I thought. A few promotions, high win percentage. Also managed to stay at dirty Leeds for nearly a whole season, which is an achievement in itself. Maybe it's time we got someone unlikeable in. Perhaps that's what we need.
