Would be good player to have in the squad. I’d imagine Rudoni would be the starting ten. But the experience he has would be a good boost imo.

From a creativity standpoint you're clearly quite far behind us & Ipswich. I think you'd be in a similar position if you had Vipotnik

You say that, but a great deal of those stats were built up when Edwards (and Adi) were in charge, prior to Hellberg's arrival, when we were much more defensively minded. The midfield were given less licence to attack so often, one or often both of the CM's acting primarily as a shield for the defence.

Sides didn't play low blocks against us as much for this reason, so when we did advance more sparingly we generally found more time in which to operate and finish effectively. With less time as we've had for some time now, a striker of better calibre is needed?

Here's the results of xG from the last 5 games for example. You won't be surprised to learn that Millwall are at the bottom of these xG stats, Ipswich above them and yourselves better than them both. Our own stats are eye-opening though, especially despite us getting the lowest points of the 4 sides at the top (8);

It all points to (with Hellberg's Boro) a ruthless, quick and accurate marksman making more difference to our results than practically any other side in the league;

I’m not entirely sure, but could this bump up your xG?

There is a little truth in this, with some of our shots.

This is in the main caused by our inferior strikers, tending to second guess themselves and take too many touches instead of finishing instinctively, which a striker out of form is prone to.

The likes of Vipotnik as an example would do this far less.

Lets be honest, we need either up and coming hidden gems and some older experienced heads.

But we need an experienced defender. Lewis Dunk perhaps. Reaching end of his career, could come in and stabilise the defence. Then we need an experienced left back. Chilwell could well be that.

Here's an ouside shout for the middle.. Jobe Bellingham. Gone to Germany, its not quite working. Might want to come back over.

Then a striker too i think, I think Simms might struggle in the Prem and be a good signing for a Champ side. So then we need someone else.. Another old head comes to mind, Danny Welbeck.

Didn't we sign Rudoni from a side relegated to League One? I hardly think you can blame Barkley for that Luton side failing to stay up, he was one of their standouts that season.

Correct.
Ross Barkley was widely hailed as a masterstroke of a signing for Luton, was arguably their star player and it-reignited his career, which had stalled comparatively.

No resale value, so unless there was a minimal transfer fee, it'd be a no from me. Sooner pay less wages on a younger player with 'potential' (like George Boateng was) that may or not pay off.
