I’m not deluded. Of course they will be down. I think we will also lose kids coming through (despite some posters saying we won’t). It wont kill the club, we will just have less of an income, meaning we will adjust the budget accordingly. It may well kill our challenge in league one or anywhere near that.

Killing the club for me will be a name change or a perm move away from cov (akin to what happened to Solihull’s ice hockey team or Warwickshire’s bears).

If there were *any* kind of evidence that they were looking for a stadium site, it'd help cushion the crowds a bit!

If we end up at WBA in another two or three seasons we'll be down to Northampton attendances. Don't be deluded. Any of this is nothing other than disastrous.

Unfortunately I think you are dead right. The only thing that has made it palatable this season has been the good football and the teams relative success. If we start losing and sliding down the table I think St Andrews will be viewed a lot less favorably.

Wasps not budging and limited evidence of moving fwd with a new site.

Not sure how any of this is new news this weekend.

One day we will be back in cov, it just might not be anywhere near as soon as people hope for

Although i don't go "Coventry in Coventry" for me plus physical reasons.I do find it strange that the cost of coaches is going up surely even in this day and with inflated prices they should be able to cover the cost at £5, even if they cannot subsidised travel is a must otherwise people without cars will be less libable to buy match tickets continuing the downword spiral.I have not not seen any talk of stadium sites plans being put forward let alone being accepted.Waiting for Wasps to go bust or move on don't hold your breath.Said before that E U complaint will cost gs millions

the club tweeted that they are subsidising travel by the same amount suggesting the travel company have raised their prices.
Surely they could have negotiated assurances that there would be no price increases during the season?

I am bothered about CCFC first and foremost. You should try it rather than being exactly the same as every other account like yours who tries the same thing.

There are plenty of threads, let's not pretend you haven't seen this, signed up and just only bothered with this one thread to try and push something.

As I said, don't be so obvious. Try to do it properly. You are too targeted, you give it away too much.

Because we don't want to go and the owners are hated. Not really hard to understand is it mate?

Sisu are banking on the emotional ties of the fans to carry on going. There will be no stadium. They are taking the piss out of you fans that go. I've never been to the sty but has there been any protests against the owners of any kind? Is it a case of just rolling over and taking it?

Are you questioning my credentials as a city fan? Your the only one on here that's been hostile. Is it because I don't subscribe to your blinkered pro sisu views? Is it because I don't hate wasps? Is it because I don't hate the telegraph? Is it because I don't hate gilbert? Is it because I don't hate the council? Don't worry though nick,I don't live on the internet like you so I wont be on your forum 24/7 like you and your click.

It's almost as if you only have set things to say. It's like an Indian call centre

Feel free to point out anything I've said that's pro sisu. Links will do.

Shouldn't be too hard for you as a long time reader.

Wonder what's going on this time?

The owners are hated so we will travel twice as far to watch the team ? That’s logic

Rolling over. Agree with that one.

Some of us go, some don’t, that’s the extent of our displeasure

This is an interesting thread, yesterday was in terms of atmosphere as quiet as it's been so far, however given the football on offer i don't think the ricoh would have been rocking either. As for getting to St Andrews, so far i have caught the train twice ( once to New Street once to Adderley park ), driven twice ( 40 mins each way, parked for free within spitting distance both times ) and the rest of the time I've used the coach to the Roost ( £8 return with a pint on arrival ). The crowd of 5,400 was i think roughly about as low as it will get, the weather was shite and there were about 150 away fans, on the whole it is no better or worse than the ricoh as a stadium, the pitch will of course show signs of wear over the season but will never be as bad as the ricoh pitch has been for the last few years, so in conclusion the atmosphere as always will depend on the level of opponent and the football that is served up, the travel for me is not really impacting on my day in a negative way, as with all things a day out is what you make it, we are made to feel welcome by the natives, I've certainly not seen any animosity to us being there, any trouble has been between our own fans. We must return to Coventry at some point and i will welcome it when it happens but right now the club needs it's fans behind it and i will continue to go and should it be necessary i will renew next year.

What’s yours ?.

Boat load of fans are happy to watch ccfc in a stadium v a team who is franchised away from it’s home, but not to support their team who is playing 2 train stops away from its home ?

It’s not that I’m completely disagreeing with the logic. What I’m saying is some might not want to fund a bad decision (playing in Birmingham) that’s been brought on by more than one party. Many don’t feel any different to the Sixfields saga.

I know a few lads who go who are fed up with going over there. They wont be renewing next season if we're at the pig sty again. This crap cant carry on. I will say this though,if we are back at the ricoh next season,I hope they get some staff who can speak English as I had my land rover 25th anniversary meal there a couple of weeks back and the service for drinks was terrible.

You should put that in a letter to Boddy. Ensure any return is on the basis that you're satisfied with the corporate service. Fucking ludicrous.
