No at our best but Substitutes came on, made a difference and changed the game. When we got the first goal we were then always in control.
Another bonus is starting with the changes we have used the squad and maybe saved a few legs.

Fuck me what a day - Cov win away to go joint top on points with a game in hand - Wasps lose & the wife and kids are going on holiday for a week leaving me free to go to Rochdale next Saturday!

Another great result, got to take in the horrible conditions just look at results today all over the country all sorts of upsets and shocks and this was definitely a potential banana skin. We came did a professional job, got the points and now we move on to Rochdale. This was Southend’s first home defeat since November so were it was always going to be tough.

Next weekend is MASSIVE we play Rochdale away & Rotherham don’t play as they should be at Bury.
By this time next week Rodney we will be top of the league!!!

Our run-in is much tougher than the two other main contenders, Rotherham and Sunderland.
