Yes. As you say, partly true. But on the most part, it’s a defensive “unit”issue, as much as it is a defensive personnel issue.I think we have to accept that is partly a result of how we set up. We do ask a lot of the central defenders when we get caught in transition.
Sounds overly simple and cliched really but it’s a concentration challenge when we dominate in our final third for long periods. Concentration then brings better and more efficient decision making.
You could make a strong case that this is Thomas and Kitching’s biggest skillset weakness.
You would hope it’s one of Wolf’s strongest based on his pedigree and what we know about him.
