He also had a release clause on his coming down from the Prem. Only valid for last summer = £20m.

Given we sold at about £15 million, assume we wouldn't get any sell on in that case. He's a bargain for someone at that price.

He had an exit clause and not one premier league wanted him. He’s a year older and playing in the championship.

He needs a better agent, is what he needs. A shit last minute deal to move to Sheffield Utd and couldn't get him a move away from them last season. It's either that or we're just blinded by the romance of what him and Vik gave us.

Its just a matter of time, he has the tools to be effective in the premiership. With Gus you except what he lacks as his ability to effect a game trumps all.

I wonder if he told Wilder on the coach after Wembley he wanted to leave like he did to Robins. Cant see Wilder taking that as well as Robins

You think he'd be willing to stay at Sheffield United if Wilder looked more like a kebab than a ham sandwich?

Did that actually happen? I remember reading at the time a comment that everyone on the coach realised Hamer and Gyokores were leaving, but that is different to them actually standing up and announcing to everyone that they were leaving.
