Exactly that. You can drink pre game, after the game and even during the game if you are that desperate.yeah, it would soon just become a massive ball ache for everyone getting drenched in beer/piss. Ultimately you can go get yourself a pint at any time during the game, just not in your seat so its not like its a no-alcohol ban.

However, at away games people go crazy. With the big games there is a sizeable number who go for the piss up. There would be no doubt of beer being thrown if we scored a late winner at Southend like last weekend.
That said, the MK Dons away celebration was the greatest in my time following the club. It looked outstanding and I'm not surprised it went viral.

Wasn't there, bit sounds like it was a bit of a nightmare for many.
It was full of people just wanting a day out. Far too many people trying to chew their own eyebrows off.
We scored, loads of bottles came flying down from the top tier into the bottom tier (our own fans), a couple of smoke bombs. Couple of kids threw a smokebomb at their goalie and got dragged out while the other fans all got worked up about it. People pissing in the stands. People running on the pitch with their kids after we scored. OAP nearly getting wiped out because 4 or 5 coked up twats in the space of 2 people decide that being at the "football" means they can just randomly throw themselves about without looking. All a bit embarrassing really and a perfect example of the reasons to put forward against Alcohol.
