The general criticism or sneering around Jamie Allen is embarrassing. Allen could easily get into a lot of championship teams but is seemingly happy to play as and when required.

Not many teams would have an experienced pro like Allen who can step into games when there is injuries to 2 or 3 key players
Love it G man. You’re an absolute clampet at times, but Allen is a great athlete and a proper professional and more people need to recognise this. As a bench player / back-up he is a top option.

What's so impressive as well as the results, goals and clean sheets now, is the way we are controlling games. Its a level of professionalism that I haven't seen for a long time. Its still very early but everything has a very different feel

And big up Jamie Allen, even if some was pretending he was shite in the first half.

A lovely day, now for a takeaway and a watch of the Chelsea vs Liverpool game

He’s decent enough but let’s also remember they are 23rd.

Superb performance today. Several starters missing. But what we are seeing is how we are playing as a team. Frank showing some fans that Asanti, Allen, Simms and Eccles aren’t rubbish and he wasn’t looking to off load them in the summer. Didnt some think Wright needed moving on?

Only the other day some ego was rubbishing the prospect of Asanti playing as a 10.

We need to trust these players, Lampard and his team, and yes even the goalkeeping coach as Rushworth is looking better with each game.

it was good to see Frank trusting his bench today and giving four of them some decent minutes.

Pleased to see good goals by Simms and Sakamoto. Some of our goals may seem like simple tap ins but it is about players arriving in the right place at the right time. I have said it before, but Asanti is great at following shots in and it is those little details coaches work on.

But that's the thing

I didn't see anyone call him shite personally

He's so well liked as a personality that it seems not saying he's doing amazing is putting him down in some people's minds

He did fine.

Thats the thing. Most said he was fine and did the job, but its not being completely critical. David is just trying to get another internet win
