On our way up we were joking about getting the next in the scoring sequence.

Fair play to Wednesday fans for having the balls to do it. Most were just ushered off, although a few were strong-armed off by the stewards. We were supportive, which, I think, they appreciated.

Great performance and particularly pleased for Ellis for finishing off that superb move.

Nice touch at the end when they played WLADITT over the PA.

Motorway Gods were on our side too. Smooth journey there and back.

Six against Blackburn then.

Could, and probably should have been 7-0. Haji and EMC’s chances in the first half were guilt edged.
I thought we were sloppy today at times, but every time we launched an attack we cut right through them. Thought Weds were alright until the 2nd goal .

EMC , welcome back sir. Such a unit.
BTA great again.
Haji was Haji, some of his movement and trickery was great though.
Jamie Allen got better as the game went on but we looked a little bare in the midfield at times
Saka, who says he cant play away
Simms, he’s going to score a lot of goals this season, whether he starts or not.

At the moment, I don’t know if we’re that much better than everyone else, or this is just an Indian summer.
In 2 weeks we should have all the injured back (hopefully Rudoni)
Everyone’s scoring, or assisting. Tight knit squad, solid back line, no loans,.fight and hunger every game.

That’s a title winning team.

Lampard said Rudoni will be a few weeks after the break.

Finally managed to get a ticket for an away game today ( used to go home and away back in the day ) , just love how the bond between the players and fans is brilliant. 5-0 helps but the best bit was after the game, when all the players had gone off the pitch they started playing WLADITT, the players came back onto the pitch to listen to us singing it , brilliant, we’re building something special

Same with me. Home and away long term supporter who can't get to hardly any games on the loyalty point system. Let's not go over the 'closed shop discussion '.

For me at the match the WLADITT moment and players reaction was the highlight although I did enjoy the 4th goal.

A great day personally on other aspects of Sheffield trip. Who knows it might still go wrong this season but undoubtedly we are a 'special club' and its long overdue we get our reward. Invest in January and our prospects look very promising.

Can we get 31,103 in the ground so we can knock Leicester off top spot???
I am sure the club and even Frank think about the atmosphere and how it helps the team, so if Blackburn sell 1k approx, then extend the home end and pack it out as best possible! We have to be realistic and on some occasions we might not perform at our best, so this is where the 12th man kicks in, and that is the home crowd getting behind the team.
I am sure we can beat the Leicester and the championship top attendance, and why not the Blackburn game👍🏼

Pretty sure Saka's performance was special in the sense he'd been on the end of some rough stuff up there recently?

How many times have we topped the second tier since relegation from the Prem?

Think the last time would have been after we beat Preston in maybe the 2007/08 season? Tempted to dig that team sheet out and see how it compares.

As has been mentioned by others, that season under Robins where we started the season on fire, it just never felt sustainable given the quality of our squad. We’re streets ahead of that squad now.

I think the linesman played the not interfering with play card. Assume he thought Bobby was onside with the header and then he thought Haji never touched it. Haji knew, he never celebrated until the goal was given.
yeah he initially went straight over to Thomas with the rest, waited just before the restart to do his celebration. Streetwise.

Would make great comparisons
