The Markelo one seems to be an opportunity that they could not pass up and wait for summer, once he was available.

Esse is more 'oven ready' and is ahead of him... but an unlikely long-term move.

I honestly don’t understand this logic but OK. He’s going to magically be worth the fee next year but isn’t now?

KKH covers both FB positions for me, Bidwell only gets on if both fullbacks get injured. I just think you need more forward options than defensive personally.
If you don’t trust those forward options there’s not much point putting them on the bench.

I would assume Markelo is injured as it seems after the Middlesbrough game that FL was ready to use him. Or perhaps he's just deemed not quite ready yet.

Yang was a bizarre signing. I'd go as far to say even despite him getting a few apps for Portsmouth I'm not sure how Championship ready he actually is.

He's ridiculously lightweight and his decision making on the ball looks overtly erratic.

Correct. They wanted the player and they will take their time bedding him in. As for Yang, maybe we talked shit to Tottenham that he'd get more game time, maybe we didn't. We're looking out for ourselves, we wanted cover and we got it. Its great to see the squad looking so healthy.

Why bring them in at all in that case? If BTA is a winger now and Eccles is a 10.

I think there’s room for two strikers two wingers and a ten personally.
Yang was opportunistic I think in case we didn’t get Markelo

Markelo they seemed to really want even if he’s not ready to hit the ground running.

There’s nothing wrong with taking 2 full backs, decent chance we sub both in certain situations.

BTA wasn’t available, he has taken Markelo’s place

Bamford is bound to score.Straight at these fuckers from the off don't be intimidated.
Or they could really struggle against us if we are on top of our game.
I couldn’t see anyone beating us in this league the way we played last Monday. Our confidence must well up after this week.

He’s just arrived and barely played in the last few months. And we have heavy competition out wide now, not sure why you find it so baffling.

Im not sure why when I’ve clearly explained myself several times in this thread alone you aren’t sure.

Well they have played more than 10x as much as him…

he last played a month before he signed and hasn’t been injured and has been training here a month. Rudoni and BTA were out injured for longer a back in the team with far less training. I mean he actually got on the pitch recently yet now isn’t ready? Sorry the justification used on here makes no sense.
