I understand about someone not being with the dog.I'll be able to hide a camera easy enough, I would love a dog but the wife has cats so that's a non starter. Plus we are out at work more often than not so that wouldn't be fair on a dog.
My dog can clear a fence easily. Soft as shit most of the time. Well known and loved around here. But he is also well known for defending. How can a dog stop kids bricking your windows?
Hide a camera....get them id'd......If the old bill don't help from there then you'll just have to help yourself if you know what I mean.
That's all fine and dandy...My dog can clear a fence easily. Soft as shit most of the time. Well known and loved around here. But he is also well known for defending.
About 6 months ago a dog got attacked by what looked like a pitbull. My daughter and her boyfriend were walking the dogs. My big dog went for it and saved the dog that was getting savaged. The pitbull looking animal ended up running away.
Get a Yorkie and your windows will still get done. Get yourself something big with intelligence and only a fool will try anything.
Is it just with you getting the hassle?
I don't think the CCTV will do much even if it does catch them in the act doing it. Little bastards like that would only understand once they had a brick round their head.
in the mean-time, see if astute will lend you his super-dog
This is sadly very true. Had my car broken into the other night (nothing taken as I don't keep anything in it), looks like they did all the road and everywhere nearby over a couple of hours. Loads of CCTV, police didn't even want to look at it. Were more interested in getting me off the phone as quickly as possible and within seconds, literally, I had an email saying they wouldn't be investigating further due to lack of evidence.Just bear in mind the police won't give a sh@@ about what you have captured there will be 101 reason why the can't identify them.

Happens on a regular basis now. Hardly a night goes by without hearing of someone's car being broken in to. The only suggestion so far from the police is to get a group of people together to patrol the area.
On two occasions the scumbags have been caught in the act and the police have then said they were too busy to send anyone out to deal with it.

Yep, had that happen when my wife's car got broken into. Had CCTV of an entrance to where it was but they said unless they had a clear shot of their face while they were actually breaking into the car they couldn't do anything. Even if it showed them carrying the stuff from the car.
Had multiple automated texts about victim support etc but no real action done about it. Just here's your crime number, give it to your insurance.
Have mentioned it on another thread before, I had my car smashed into and the police had the cheek to call me in to ask about giving one a slap and stealing their motorbike and said they couldn't prove who crashed into my car. "The person who was taken away in an ambulance, the one who said to you I took their bike, the person who's name I gave you because I knew who he was" was the answer. Copper just said "make sure anything that happens is in a dark alley" and that was that.
Half the time they actively encourage vigilantes as I bet half the time they would love to do the same.
You deserve that information anyway purely so you can avoid it happening again, let alone for revenge purposes.I've been half tempted to join the Police as a special constable just to have access to the systems and find out the names and addresses of the three people that fucked me up. It was two years ago but it still shits me up every now and again. Once I recovered I was unbelievably pissed off.
Vigilante behaviour will become more common as it seems it is the only way in which you will get justice if something happens to you.
It is very, very worrying.
This is what I got when using that link............https://www.safe.co.uk/products
This is a reasonable set up which I have got and no problem reading number plates etc. More to keep your house safe though and not too stop people throwing bricks as has previously been said.
Oh yes, try this one....This is what I got when using that link............

tough situation and i feel for you. country is messed up with anti social scumbag families
i hope you can find a way to move house, this is no way to live
The wife is bankrupt (that was a nice surprise a couple of years back) and I don't earn enough to get a mortgage on a garage let alone a house at the moment. With a bankruptcy charge on the house and its value 10% or more less now than when I purchased it I think I'm stuck where I am for a very very long time
