His last apearance for lincoln was the EFL trophy where he got player of the round and scored 2 (according to BHA website) so I wouldn’t have thought he’d be low on confidence, hopefully if it is him he carries on that form.It's true players can thrive under different managers and different systems. But it's difficult not to pre-judge a player such as Maguire-Drew given his record and time at Lincoln when we're at a time where we need to get it right during this transfer window.
So remember yourself that it isn't as simple as "players need to suit styles and buy into the culture of the club" when as a loanee, they're on limited time to do so.
I'd welcome Maguire-Drew with open arms if we hypothetically brought him in, it's not wrong to be sceptical how he'd perform given the fact that his confidence has probably taken a hit.

How imminent is imminent?I didn't realise that he'd actually spent a chunk of his time at Lincoln on the treatment table. I had assumed his lack of game time coincided with lack of form. My mistake.
