Sat there last season once or twice. Didn't like it.

Would I go there instead of not being in the stadium at all? Obviously.

Will it be better with plenty people moving over? Definitely.

It could be a busy stand next season. A lot different to now.

I mentioned earlier in the thread this year was going to be my 1st season ticket in my life (I just turned 30 a couple of weeks ago, for reference).

Personally I think the pricing is exceptional value for me, my friends and I were taking bets on what they'd be if we got a sniff of the premiership and our guesses were a hundred higher at least.

I think that the way people are ignoring the value of the family stand offer is poor, as people have pointed out this is one of the lowest priced options in the league. I know people are reluctant to move seats, but for a few hundred quid saving, I'm pretty sure it is worth it. Who knows, there might even end up with atmosphere in two sections rather than just the old corner?

I get that people have concerns about atmosphere, but the corner was becoming an issue wasn't it. This helps to resolve the issue in a constructive way, rather than a heavy handed approach which I am sure was coming.

The area I think there's been a huge mis step is the over 60s tickets. I think this should've been put on a 'Grandfather clause' pun intended btw - where we rise existing ST holders eligibility for the 5 years. I.e. if you're 61 and have a legacy price you continue at that till 65, but if you are just turning 60 then you wait till 65.

Spot on.

It's a shame about senior prices but it's in line with every other club.

Its basic pricing strategy. There’s always customers who want to spend the most so give them an opportunity.

Yeah I understand.

Difference is, you CAN both of them in for £150. At Middlesbrough you cannot get a kid in for less than £186 each.

They don't have the options.

Probably already been pointed out but am I reading correctly that they’ve upped the senior age from 60 to 65 ? If so that’s a stealthy move if ever I’ve seen one

TBH not sure the ticket pricing has been thought out.

If we make the Prem, we might get demand for 30000 seats, say 10 times.

How many seats will be unavailable because they’ve been sold to “kids” on a s/t costing £2.50 per match?

People will be almost in a position to sell them off.

Will the club need to start “buying back” tickets which won’t be used like other clubs do?

Actually quite flabbergasted with some on here today. Ones i didnt think were pricks either

You can tell its 'im alright jack' mentality from some.

Lets put it into context. The club have decided that for all those under 18, our future generation of supporters those who will be the ones paying £500 per season for the next 40 years, have just been hit with a 400% price hike if they want to stay where they are. 400%.

'Go sit in the family zone then its cheaper' i hear you shout. Well yes you're right it is, but a gew caveats to that.

1. This means moving away from people they have been going up with for years. Relationships forged will now be lost, a huge part of going games

2. Further away from the atmosphere. My kids love to join in the songs. What if when we move we're by one of them mutes who hate noise and atmosphere, spending the time awkward

3. It take enjoyment away from the whole experience not being able to watch the game and comment on the game with the people you've been sat with for years

And lastly again il reiterate A 400% INCREASE PER CHILD. Thats an absolute shambles

All this due to a few chavs getting in cheaper means punishing a whole demographic of fans

I dont think il be renewing, and i know im not the only one

I'd happily pay under 200 for both my kids though , most of us would

I have to say that would be a 50 quid rise from this season, not a 375 rise .

I DONT WANT TO MOVE !!!

you seriously need that answering? Half of block 15 are kids who don’t go with their parents. You won’t get Middle Aged men in there replacing them. the atmosphere will significantly reduce. After World Cup break the atmosphere was dire at times. only picked up lately due to success on the pitch.. if we are mid table next season atmosphere will be average at best

Didn't you put on the other thread you give the kids tickets to mates?

It's not about being I'm alright Jack. It's more about there's a choice if people want to take it.

If singers corner is full of families then surely the atmosphere will move and effectively have 2? If people have relationships with other families, they can just move them over and save money?

So we either go somewhere else where she won’t be able to see most of the game or pay something unaffordable to stay there. Like I say, we might well not renew now.

How? You don't have to?

The early bird price last year was £345 and the standard zone is now £400....

There's three blocks that constitute premium, so a move is at most 1.5 blocks left or right - even if you were slap bang on halfway in order to pay the £400.

That does need sorting, can’t do anything of the sun in the sky but once it starts to blaze through the glass behind the south stand it’s worse, they can and should blacken that glass.

The reality is, the vast vast majority of singers corner are U18's (or even adults) on JSB season tickets paying next to fuck all for what is the most in-demand area of the ground. They've addressed that.

There's also an argument to be made that kids shouldn't be allowed there.

If you were to sit in the South Stand at Middlesbrough where the noise is.

An adult and an under 18 £660 to renew. Adults are £460 and kids £186 in that area.

But it's STILL 200 cheaper .. our pricing for kids outside the family zone is absolutely shocking

Again, Dont want to move , why is that being forced on us it's weird and happens nowhere else
