So, just to clarify...

22,500 STs last season.
24,000 cap.

Does that mean we have sold 1,500 new STs, or have some current STHs bought in new seats but won't renew?

I am incredibly lazy at this sort of thing but I did order today which is the earliest ever I’d think

How is it mad, you were freaking out about being priced out of a ST yourself just a few days ago!

Because 22.5 thousand people have rhe chance to renew at early bird prices for another 16 days

Id have assumed those renewing would do so before that date

Fuck all to do with my circumstance

I’ve bought row H in block 10 will the view be any good or is it too low?.

I’m row J, no idea if that’s the same level in 35 and 10 tho. Personally I find it too low when the ball goes down the other end. Everything from 30 yards out looks like it’s on the goal line.

Yeah it’s not a deal breaker. I have renewed after all. But I was used to what I’d call a “FIFA on the Megadrive” view for years before that, nice and high in the corner. When the play is down your end it’s much much better of course. And there’s a good chance if you shout an insult the opposition will hear it. Swings and roundabouts.

That's the logical Spot to sit if you're old man's getting a bit infirm to be fair, so long as it's close to the exit level?

Yeah that’s exactly it. If Balcony Bar was a touch cheaper or the atmosphere a touch better to justify the cost I’d have gone there for best of both worlds. Great view and easily accessible. Maybe I’ll save my bonus this year. Knowing my luck well get promoted and it’ll be £10k/ticket next season.

I'm another disciple of Martin Lewis, renewed by adding it to alllll my other credit card debt and sticking the lot on a 31 month 0% balance transfer card. Interest on the other cards was due to kick in over the next couple of months so timed it nicely, I can continue kicking that particular can down the road!

Maybe they haven't decided if it's worth renewing at the increased prices?

I think the reference to your circumstance was that your initial thought was that the price was too high to be worth renewing, and then you changed your mind in less than 12 hours.

Others may have also been in a similar thought process and been put off by the high prices but it's taking them longer than 12 hours to decide if they are renewing or not.

They were both green & no flashing when I watched them come through. Maybe orange for the children concessions but wasn't for 18-21
In that case renew your sons season ticket. Swap seats though so you both get new season tickets. Keep your old season ticket. If an adult scans the 18-21 card then light will be fine. If asked to check season ticket then use old cars

St Fund Update
£3,625
raised to date
Nominations for tickets is at 80 now

From the money raised to date then likely to be able to help circa 15-18 depending on fees, age of children, FZ area etc
I know some wont renew from previous years so please don't hold back donating, the club have always been supportive on letting us have the ability to buy and I hope that will be the case this year, even with the cap and the waitlist.

I know its tough this year and definitely slower but would be amazing if we could get it up to £5,000 and help over 20
Thank you for your donations to date.

Link is in a thread above, pinned at the top as well but also below

Nomination form below but its going to be really tough to help even 25% of those nominated already. I know its the same for us all but the £250 to £440 really eats into the fund.

I'm waiting for a hand written begging letter from Doug before I renew, I also want it delivered by Dr Roberts.

My understanding is that it means that we have 1.500 new (as against last season) STHs.

Plus, apparently, about 450 on the waiting list.
It's a bit confusing Tommy and a bit frustrating.

This year, circs are potentially changing so was looking to get a ST with family. I assumed the system was only open to existing ST holders for renewals, as I wasn't able to buy online.

But for those of you who went to renew, were you ALSO able to buy additional new STs as well?

When the club said new STs sold out, I went and checked and was able to go on the waiting list. If the above is correct, I assume this is now for fist dibs for those who don't renew?

I could have renewed my existing seats or selected different seats. I'm not sure if new STHs could buy them but it would allow me to allocate to others in my group who were not current STHs.

Does anyone think there’ll be an option to
Sell season ticket seats for games you can’t make this season? Many other clubs do it, hopefully Coventry follow.
