Surprised so many are buying early when you can wait until 19th when you'll have the pick of the best seats and can go where you want.

Couple of observations, South Stand could well sell out this season. Also, block 4 is on sale for ST holders for the first time ever, and is selling well. Presumably people are choosing to sit their owing to proximity to away fans and atmosphere. Blocks 2, 3 and 4 could be really lively.

Could be wrong but that’s not how I’m reading it works. Season tickets are reserved up till the 19th for season ticket holders and new sth’s can buy available seats.

Then between the 19th and 24th season tickets are off sale and those that have bought prior to the 19th can change seats to any seats now made available following the reserved ones being released. So that’s when you get best pick of the seats but you must have bought one by then.

Then they are back on sale again to everyone on the 24th with all seats not already taken available.

I'm a current season ticket holder block 14 with my 2 lads, I've just bought ours in block 4 cause I've had enough of the kids in 14 and the blatant overcrowding, im just not gonna renew my season tickets in 14 so they will become available on the 19th

Who has? Every season, about 20-25% of existing season ticket holders don't renew. There will be around 5000 seats become free in a few weeks. Just surprised people aren't waiting until then. It's good that they are not, lots of early sales builds momentum.

I think we may be missing some detail because that doesn't make sense. If adult tickets in the FZ are now the same price as the rest of the ground and they aren't pushing people who can't attend to make use of the ticket exchange what's the benefit of making people move?
My guess is you move, at no charge then your seat are available to sell to a family? Cat A game another £60 odd into the coffers

Yes they can. They can buy in a new place and not renew. They will have the same number of tickets but in a different place. This is all getting a bit ship of Theseus.
Bit highbrow of a reference for me.

What's wrong with Trigger's Broom?

After some tense negotiations with my wife regarding mileage on car and time spent away from family, I am pleased to announce my renewal for season 25/26.

With regards to potentially moving seats do we (a) get chance to move before the tickets go on general sale and, if so, (b) is it always a bunfight?

My mate’s Dad isn’t renewing in Block 20, so I know this seat will become available.

But surely you can only have 1 seat per supporter number
Yeh I'd guess so i haven't actually tried it as I have just bought seats elsewhere but if you can renew after buying seats somewhere else I'm guessing the ticket office would contact you and ask if it was an error, I suppose you could be buying g for someone else who doesn't have access to the internet
