Gonna sell that easy
Its mad isn't it!!! Who knew we had so many fans?????

I would like someone to own up to asking the daftest question of the club, which i saw on X,. Which was basially...As there is a cap of 24000 can the club guarantee that every season ticket holder from last year will be able to renew?

FFS - we sold 22500ish ST's last year - it doesnt take an Accountant to work out that 24000 is higher than the number sold in 24/25...so obviously everyone is going to be able to renew...if they want to of course!! pffffffff

PS - I'm hoping it wasn't you who asked that question Pete :)

Aren't new sales being allowed to though? Presumably only a maximum of 1500 were made available to new STHs yesterday?

They have the data, they will have set the cap at just above the maximum they think that will sell. And if we did reach that number you can be sure there would be some way round it.

As the whole south stand has to potentially be made available to away fans for cup games, the only way around it would be no priority for season ticket holders in those cup games.
That would cause uproar, especially as we’ve already now sold tickets without making that clear

Where we sit in block 23 there were a few spare seats around us & different people would sit in them, especially at the end of season with the sell outs. I've just had a look at the seating map & they are now unavailable so I assume new STHs have bought these already.

A seat next to us is empty every game. The STH watches the game somewhere else - presumably with friends or family - but the seat will always show as unavailable.

Presumably trying to create a waiting list and then FOMO means you can charge what you like. Otherwise no idea why you'd cap it if you can fill it every week and increase F&B sales etc etc.

For Cat A matches the ticket price is worth double so I can see why they do it where they are fairly assured that tickets will sell. It's quite a lot of money over the season.

My friend has a ST in 21 but sits with us if there is a spare seat

Just renewed for me and my lad - the total finance charge works out at £60 for a ST cost of £690, I think that's pretty good really.

i have been watching the available seats dissappearing of the grid in front of my eyes! i think the 24k cap is panicking people to buy them

I'm confused. People are saying they have moved, but I didn't think that was possible until June 19th.

I’m guessing people are buying where they see multiple seats available together, then will just relinquish their seats from last year when the deadline hits. That’s what me and my boys did last season when we moved from 23 to 11.

I assume just buying in the new place and not renewing.
