I expect SISU will be aware that they have pissed off loads of season ticket holders this year with the dross they have served them. I expect the next couple of months will look like this.....
- Sepalla statement released to fans thanking them for their support in difficult times (basically a rehash of the one she puts out every year)
- Mowbray will be given assurances and will sign a two year deal
- Waggot will talk about our top 8 budget alongside a top manager and state that a promotion push is the season's objective
- Loads of fans will buy season tickets & be monumentally let down again
I agree, but it's happened every year since I can remember. We get a ST and then loads of players are sold off and we moan!
Do you have to pay a hefty amount for a kids ticket ? I've got a 5 year old daughter I would occasionally bring, I could potentially get her a season ticket guaranteeing the space next to me is free, then if a mate comes he can get a ticket anywhere and have that seat ?
as you say though, I probably shouldn't worry too much about it lol

As Nick keeps telling everyone. Sign her up as a JSB. £25 a year (I think) and she'll get in for free with a paying adult (I think).
Without wishing to be argumentative - honestly - I think the best thing that could happen for the club now would be for Fisher to leave. Irrespective of your view of recent events, he's pretty much disliked by fans on all sides of the debate. He can't be doing that good a job that SISU can't find a better candidate.
I think if he went, and someone stepped into his shoes with a bit more candour, and TM can be persuaded to stay on a longer contract; the season ticket sales - especially if better marketing prevailed - would pick up significantly over the summer.
Now, of all times, a fresh start is needed; and Fisher's departure would be a grand way of achieving that
I agree. Fresh start. Get rid of Fisher, employ Mowbray, let him have a new backroom staff. Get rid of the dross.
Has to be the way to go. The club is - in broad terms - probably now breaking even. The next phase, putting everything behind us, is how we as a club produce the revenues needed to take the next step. Be that a new stadium, better deals with Wasps, etc. Fisher has managed to make enemies everywhere he's gone; and is the face-of-SISU for many stay-away fans. A new face and modus operandi will help wherever our next plans are, and soften the attitude of some fans. If Mowbray can recruit wisely over the summer, there's no reason a feel-good factor can't return. And that'll shift tickets.
The feeling when the first pre-season games start, with new players - wondering if they'll gel or not - often played on sunny days; is so exciting. You don't want that sullied by the distraction of Fisher saying something bananas. We have to now look forward, and every time Fisher opens his mouth, I can't help be reminded about all the old crap.
New brush please, SISU

The problem is, changing the public face doesn't solve the fundamental problems (see Richardson -> McGinnity -> Robinson) so while it might have a quick bit of feel-good, it'd all be an illusion and not really move us on long term.
Fisher and Waggott equally are big problems here and have been for a while, a lot of talk often about "our owners" but in reality it is F&W are who run the club and make many of the big decisions, pre Sixfields Joy Sepalla admitted didn't even know we existed and only got personally involved once the shit hit the fan re. Sixfields. We desperately needs a change at the day to day running of the club Fisher has stated on radio he leaves the day to day stuff entirely in Steve Waggott's hands while his sole remit is a new ground, (don't laugh).the whole football club is a complete mess.

When do you think the first early bird tickets will become available ?
