Does a science teacher *need* to do live experiments with an element of risk? Why not just read about them in a book? Do teachers need to take kids on school trips? Why not just take them on Google Maps where it’s safe?
To muslims who follow Islam - yes we know and whilst we wouldn’t wish to offend our brothers and sisters of the Islamic faith I don’t think they should dictate to non- Muslims how they should and shouldn’t act

I just try to respect other people’s beliefs systems. It doesn’t inconvenience me to not show cartoons of Allah, I can discuss it and make a point without having to go to the effort of showing a cartoon of Allah regardless of opinion on whether I believe it’s okay or not. The only reason to show a cartoon of Allah is to get a reaction. Either the teacher is a complete moron or he was looking for a reaction.

Teaching about homosexuality and women’s rights offends some religions. Teaching evolution offends some religions. Mixing boys and girls offends some religions. Why is this one the one we should listen to?
I’m offended by what’s taught in Business and Economics, I disagree with a lot of what’s taught in PSE, I know lots of activists who disagree with what’s taught in history and lots of English teachers who disagree with what’s taught in English lessons.
Funnily enough, they suck it up or campaign for change to the government. None of them send death threats or shut down schools.

In 2019 Christians protested outside a school because they were covering homosexuality in lessons. No flags were involved but unfortunately no teachers were sacked; whipped etc. and the school just carried on.
What a bigoted school! They should have immediately withdrawn this from the curriculum and issued a groveling apology letter - yes? It would have been enough to say that sexual deviants exist - that's sex education. I question their ability to teach.
