Like I said most of us thought Sisu were going to be great. I certainly did. Listening to him on the radio tonight I was impressed. Agreed with everything he said. Seemed very reluctant to be on there and also angry with the way Sisu do things.

And it really wasn't hard to find out what they were all about.

Given he was Vice Chairman (and Vice Chairman to hedge fund owning, eye-watering interest-rate charging Ranson), if he didn't know what they were all about, that shows a spectacular lack of judgement.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
At the time we were in a perilous financial position and sisu came along and looked the only player in town, seems they weren't. We all know sisu played the game for a while but changed tact, was that their plan all the time ? and it all seemed to go tits up from there.

Hoffman now needs to come back next week end of the season and make the third and final bid. If they say no to that you can't keep bidding hoping they say yes so you may as well now just put in their best offer and if they say no say look We have tried but if they say no to 3 million quid then fuck it.

If that's the case we are stuck with sisu and that's just the end of it.

I think it's only fair to ask questions of Hoffman/Elliott and their offer.
We should after all remember that Hoffman and Elliott were two of the directors on the first board after SISU came in. They wasted the golden opportunity to spend the first many, many milions to bring us forward.
They failed.
Their strategy was
1) Stabilize the finances - they failed!
2) Secure promotion to the PL - they failed!
3) Buy 50% of the stadium - they failed!
In fact - their failure laid the foundation the to hatret towards SISU. And they don't seem to have any decency to at least admit they carry some responsibility.

Why would anyone simply accept they are 'better' than SISU when they were 'acting as SISU' (just like Fisher is now) back when there was money and good will in abundance. They screwed up!

So SISU only failed because of Hoffmann and Elliot?

Hoffman's bid tbf is a bit of a joke. It's a convoluted miss mash of promises and open ended maybes. It's just not something to take seriously in my opinion.
I guess rather than cash he is looking at a way SISU retain some equity over a period of time but without control of how that equity builds or loses value before being cashed in.
The problem I sense is Hoffman's consortium do not have the financial means to give CCFC anything much better than what we have with SISU. Both will continue to tread water with the difference being the evil ones would all be gone. So you give SISU another 1m when we reach the Championship? How long will that take? What guarantee could there possible be on such an offer? It's all a bit absurd tbh...and this from a banker.
Just listen to what Hoffman is trying to sell? One look at OSB58's summary earlier demonstrates just how complicated the 'club' ownership is.
If I walked into a business for sale and said I'll give you a bit of cash but I'll pay you some more when I get control and earn off the business...effectively paying them with their own money? All I see is court case after court case from SISU claiming "where's my money". Seriously?
Yes you can get some cocker mania offer on the table and hope they will take it in desperation but this isn't it.
I'm sure Gazza and Elliott want to be heroes and save our club but like the back of a fag packet before, he just seems to be making waves. Perhaps it's all for publicity to attract other investors?
Perhaps with his background and contacts within banking he could sell a similar 'plan' to the bankers he has high profile with, and raise capital to say to SISU..."OK her's 10m all up front, now fcuk off" That might work.

Wouldn't everyone love that ; unfortunately I don't see a steady queue of oligarch's , Arab Prince's and Jack Walker's looking to give SISU the money they have wanted in the past.

If we don't get taken over this summer we are heading for non-league football. Most friends aren't renewing and will only do so when SISU clear off. Fisher and a new puppet CEO in the mould of Labovitch will only keep the same failing policies that culminated in fourth tier football next season.

Why are people falling for this 'proof of funds' nonsense from SISU. It's the usual spin. Look at their statement / open letter for a brief glimpse at how out of touch they are.
