Probably alluding to the fact Thorn sometimes cancelled training sessions or when senior professionals decided they could not be bothered to turn up.

If this is true then Thorn should never be involved in football at any level again..... i was right about him. He used the club as his gravy train.

Yep once the stories start to come out there are going to be some very red faced supporters of his that's for sure.

Here you go again...the smug little professor!
I will not have a red face. AT had his way & I was happy to support him in doing the job that way. We'll never know now if he could have made it work. Your GUESS is "no". No amount of rumour or speculation about the actuals, maybes or whatever will change anything now.
Let's just hope whoever comes in can do what's needed & quickly.

What a shock RoDs misses is pleased thorns gone. Whoever the next gaffer is RoD will still be out of the team, then what? Is he a shit manager too?

pretty sure these thorn stories are true,
mate of ours sat next to bakers wife last season, she said thorn used to binge regularly and would often cancel training sessions or do little with the players as he was hungover or fed up.
Eventually carl would go on regular runs because he felt guilty for not training properly!

You reckon? I can't stand the idiotic players and their wives on twitter. Not just McPake and RoD's idiot of a Missus but the Noel Whelan and Paddy Kenny thing and all that.

I would be fuming if my wife was writing shit like that. What would Shaw think about it or the next manager? Not very professional and regardless of what you think of Thorn as a manger to "celebrate" the sacking of someone is a shitty thing to do.

....I think there is a bit more to it than that.

People should leave the man alone. So he's a drunk now, is he?

I hate Twitter and that rubbish, but it has been fairly clear for a while that there has been unrest amongst players.

Even so, even as the wife of a player, or an ex-player, it is incredibly unprofessional to celebrate, as someone put it, the sacking of a manager. They stil have a responsibility

I agree, it is slightly unprofessional. Times have changed though and we live in a world where players and fans are now closer than ever.

If she was praising Thorn, would this also be unprofessional?
