So therefore we don't criticise its faults and, instead, praise it for being balanced?

That's not very... balanced.

And what about the honest, true and genuine Wasps fans?

You would wish that upon them?

Surely not. Haven't other fans wanted to see us go bust because of Sisu? And don't we keep saying the club is not Sisu?

Entirely wrong to wish that on the Wasps fans.

I’m sorry, but they make me sick - seeing them in their shiny new scarves and shirts walking through Arena Park. If there is any possibility that wasps going bust will help return my team to Coventry then great, as soon as possible please. Plenty more rugger teams in London or the Midlands to go and watch with probably less travel for most of them than we will have to endure, other than the Coventry based traitors who where the shiniest stuff because they have only been wasps supporters for five minutes.

Personally I'm troubled at the representation of SISU as somehow heroes who've saved us and, without their intervention, we wouldn't exist. I'm also troubled by us being earmarked as a model of financial stability upon which Wasps (and by implication, others) would look at with envy.

I think the financial reference was sarcasm. Or is it irony? No, sarcasm.

I'm talking about the genuine Wasps fans. Those prior to the move here.

At the end of the day its not as simple as Wasps going bust. There's multiple companies and the lease is used as security on a huge loan. Exactly the kind of setup people were up in arms at the idea of SISU putting in place should the club ever own the stadium.

In an ideal world Wasps financial problems continue and ACL2006 goes in to administration. I believe that would mean the extended lease reverts to the council and ACL2006 move back to the original lease of which there is something like 35 years left.

I have no idea how the 250 year lease can be used as security on the bonds when in the event of administration the lease falls away, don't think that's ever really been answered. CCFC buys assets of ACL2006, ie the lease, off the administrator without the debt and are then Wasps landlords. They can then purchase a 200 year lease extension from the council which as we all know is only worth £1m

Seems hugely unlikely at the moment to say the least.

There is very little sign of intelligence on that forum. Made the mistake of following that link to see what they were saying and ended up reading a couple of other threads. There's currently outrage as they believe rob9872 genuinely wants to blow up the Ricoh!

To be honest I'm struggling to think anyone could be stupid enough to even give it a second thought let alone believe it to be serious. Surely that has to be Wasps PR trying to whip up ill feeling towards our supporters.

God help them if they read some of the other threads and believe they are all true as well!

I see Wasps fans are excited about having extra free days.

I can put good money on there being no extra events being put on because of the football club not being there.

Thing is, they have it in their head that CCFC gave them £150k a season and that was it!

This ones easy. There's 365 days in the year. We played 24 games last season - some moved to Fridays or Sundays to allow other events, Wasps played 16. 3 concerts and 1 monster truck event.

What was happening on the remaining 321 days as I assume they were all fully booked if they need our days free to host events.

Some of their fans genuinely think they lose money by having us play there. Their inability to grasp very basic facts is astounding.

Very poor thinking that if you ask me.

How is it the genuine Wasps fans fault and why do they deserve to lose their club?

I thought we would be better than that considering our own predicament.

So many Wasps fans didn't want their club to move here.

How many are actively and publicly sympathising with our plight? None!

So as far as I’m concerned - if them going bust helps our predicament - then so be it

Because a reporter wrote an article about the plight of CCFC and does not slag off SISU it causes a shit storm as being biased!! for FFS there should be a shit storm every week then the way Giblet and the Telegraph report biased views against CCFC. Come on Les Reid lets get you out of the cupboard and put your views in the Observer (tell us what you really really know!!) dont think people could handle it.

I agree entirely WH, but Les's balanced views only ever seem to attract an almighty collective trolling, so he may prefer to keep his head below the parapet.
