you think we'll keep these players forever? It common knowledge that any monies received will be used to pay bills. League 1 business model.

Where did I say that? I just take half the stuff I read on here with a pinch of salt, if you were an outsider reading this forum you’d think the club was about to go to the wall any minute

I'd guess that 20 teams have better squads than us, maybe we have a decent 'best 11', but after that we aren't very good.

We've got players on massive wages that we can't afford, so i'd say it's not unreasonable to think we'll hit financial trouble and slip back down the leagues again. Also, we have no ground and a shit training ground.

We once signed Garry Collier for one of the highest ever fees for a centre half - he played 2 games

In my opinion Dyche fits Stoke, but would not be shocked if they took a run at Robbins and AV.

Fuck me G, that’s scraping the barrel.

As you like to deride McCallum, he could be used as an example against what you are saying, we signed him for free he was a success snd we made a tidy profit.

For every failure you can draw out a success.

It's unrealistic to think a team with a league 1 business model and wage bill can survive in the Championship long term. We have massively over achieved expectations in the last 2 years and to think that can continue would make you deluded. I would say i'm more realistic than negative.

I don’t see it myself.

All the comments about them being a club run by wealthy backers….well it’s hardly done them much good since relegation has it, and they are trigger happpy re manager retention.

Ive always been very positive about McCallum here but when he signed for Norwich it didn’t instantly make him good

Ben Stevenson signed for wolves, George Thomas signed for Leicester both for reasonable fees. Success?

Norwich have been quite excellent in the market at this level in recent years .. they were promoted the season after the got Sam and loaned him to QPR ? where he won YPOTS

I don’t think it’s deluded ,at the current time, to see the club as one that can survive in the Championship.

I would say I’m more realistic than positive.

No they weren’t a success, and I wouldn’t disagree on that.

I was more looking at the point you made about the cost of each to the club, Collier who was expensive failed, and McCallum who was free was a success.

Considering they finished 2 points behind us last season, would you say we’re a poor side?

Somebody really thinks it’s going to be Alex Neil! 50/1 into 7/4 favourite, on a rolling 12 month contract similar to Robins I believe…

Perhaps if Robins doesn’t go to Stoke there is something more to come about the rumoured takeover
