I think that they are struggling to get a stadium sponsor as the second sponsor isn't that interesting and they know that they will getting their name into a very limited market in Rugby.

In 2015 Ricoh agreed to pay a token amount until a new sponsor was found. It was estimated that to de-Ricoh the place it'd cost around 40% of what it would to change everything so ACL decided that was the best way forward. It does seem to be dragging which is odd.

So Wasps saying that the deal had been extended was, to put it politely, spin. What a surprise.
