Its not the whole away end, that stand holds 8,000. Its basically the same seats that they had for the first leg.

They are so pissed off with life in general and the prices for this that they're saying that if we sell out we might end up outnumbering them

It's about 1,800 in the upper tier and 4,500 lower I think. Probably got a few rows at the front and ends netted off.

To be fair according to the Neil from the trust there’d be an extra 10k at the Ricoh and given this is literally just down the road and there’s so many away games only, we’ll definitely sell it out...

In reality we’ll probably sell about 4-4500. We had a group of 12 go to the original game and less than half will come to this one

I wonder if the rumour that people who won't go to St Andrews unless it was an away game get 1st priority as a thank you / sorry about this...

Bizarre reaction really. It's £18 for ST holders. The lowest they can charge is £15 anyway. Is £3 such a big deal. I spill more than on my way to the toilet most matchdays.

Good point but they are worried we will out number them.

According to the Trust the missing home fans are all because they're boycotting rather than logistics or anything so no excuses for this one right?

Although a small amount of the lower are blocked off for segregation we would be allowed more than they had for the first game.

Half the stand was closed off because our coaches were parking in that car park and that prevented access to the turnstiles for their fans unless the two sets of fans crossed paths, which H&S didn't want to happen. Won't be an issue this time, so we could have more of that stand opened up.

Yeah would make more sense for Cov to have the whole lower tier (over 5'500) like you had in 2011 and West Brom had in 2015 except now there are all of those seats covered up at the back of the lower tier to allow the executive boxes a better view and less aggravation from rival fans tapping on the windows etc...

Unlike the game in 2011, in 2015 against West Brom Blues filled the home stands so they even opened up the GM Upper to more home fans but just closed off the front 2 rows of seats up there to avoid the situation you get at Molineux. I think accessing the whole GM Lower from Coventry Rd turnstiles is fine as there are more turnstiles on that access point and there is plenty of room for queueing there. Of course I could be completely wrong and they might be on about giving Cov essentially the same blocks as Blues had on Saturday which was half of block 3, and all of blocks 4, 5, 6 and 7 (roughly 4'000) plus the GMU (1'500 ish)

Better get in quick when they go on sale...... The Trust and their 2700 members who definitely all share the same views on not going to Birmingham for games are primed and ready to purchase tickets and excited to travel to Birmingham for the game!!!

Yeah, it doesn't quite stack up. 5.5K sounds to me like it should be the whole bottom tier which is pretty much exactly what we had for the cup tie a few years back (I don't recall us having the top tier that day). Either way, it is enough tickets I think, still doubtful that we will take that many.

We did have the top tier too. We were in it. On that occasion I am sure the figure put out was 6k away supporters in a 16k crowd.

Hopefully we can, if not i rekon we'll sell at least 5k! The prospect of Incester in the next round might persuade people

Clive and Stuart will be on it again saying don’t think we’ll sell many rather than saying how exciting and let’s fill the end and sing the team through to the next round

5 out of 6 of us going

I don't remember Cov having the top tier in 2011. On the highlights of the game straight after Kevin Phillips winning goal the camera pans across to that end and the Gil Merrick Upper looks empty. Maybe you were up there. Did you have to queue next to Blues fans going into the Main Stand then? The Lower bit does hold 6'000 when all the covers are removed. I think Cov had about 6'000 down there

We did have 6000 but didn't have the top tier.

Interesting that Ipswich brought 2000 to us a few months back and it filled 3/4 of that bottom tier.

Gil Merrick upper capacity is 1,884 and lower (without any covers or restrictions) is 5,982.

I'd be surprised if we needed the upper to be honest, its not like its a ground that people need to tick off anymore.
