Ohh yeah, good old Xmas day hackers But yeah, I have Virgin 200mb Broadband and took no more than 90 mins.

It is worth the wait though, already hooked, just need more time to dedicate to it!

I was trying to pat my horse in order to build the relationship and as I was walking round in order for the option to appear it basically shit right in front of my face. Sometimes you can have too much detail in a game

I've noticed this too! The horse did a huge shit!

I let my daughter have a play last night. She punched my horse in the face, then gave a woman a lift home and then shotgunned her in the back to loot her corpse. I wasn't sure if I should be proud or horrified.

Sounds very Raoul Moat. Did Gazza turn up with KFC? What an Easter egg that would be!

Haven’t given it the time it needs. I’m near valentine (still only chapter2). Done all but one mission and a lot of side shows (the photographer, the show people etc). Really enjoying it but I’m so slow when it comes to shooting etc. Forget which buttons change weapons, crouch, dead eye etc. I’m just no good in combat.

As a huge fallout fan, I'm sad to say the new one looks dodgy. Watched a handful of lengthy youtube videos of the beta, and graphically it was poor, the control mechanics weren't optimised, and the AI was gash - enemies spawning behind your back in an instant. I get that it's meant to be MMO so AI isn't that important, but if it's in the game it needs to work. Sadly, it just looks like a rushed release.

Still on chapter 2. There were more missions left than thought. But just got 3 gold bars (worth $500 each) so happy

My trusty race horse that I've nurtured pretty much from the start has just dropped dead. She's always fell fed and none of her cores were lacking. She just dropped dead and I'm devastated.

My horse 'Doyler' is still going strong. I'd be devastated if this happened!

Anybody got any good robbing tips. Every time I try and rob a house or shop someone sees me and my bond is more than I steal.

I got an Arab horse I found in the mountains. Accidentally killed a few so being really careful with this one. Kept falling off cliffs with them and having to put them out of their misery.

Just a aved this woman trapped under a dead horse, rode her back home and she jumped straight under a carriage and died. Stupid bitch.

It’s all about the clothing! Put your mask on and don’t go back to the same place unless you have changed your clothing otherwise you rack up big bounties. Most of the shops aren’t worth the hassle to be honest apart from the ones which have sub games I.e. the chemist at valentine where there is a business at the back and you can get the best revolver.
The quickest way to raise cash I am finding is holding up carts and sending them to the fence at the emerald ranch. There are loads that pass that way and you can hogtie the guy and steal the cart.

One trick I learned is upgrading everybody’s lodging gives you fast travel from the camp.

I'm sort of jaded by it. It's so big and so much going on I feel like I'll never have time to play it all.

I'm liking more and more games like uncharted or last of us where you actually play through a story instead of fucking off about on your won for ages.

Exactly how I feel, unless you can dedicate 3 or more hours at a time, you feel like you've achieved nothing.

Totally the same! Just couldn’t get into it which was really unlike me as I tend to love this type of game but just didn’t take to it. I still haven’t played a game better than zero dawn on the PS4, nothing compares to the game play, storyline and visuals

It's so good but can be overawing. I sank loads of hours into it but there are still giant swathes of land I've yet to see properly. Having finished the story mode now it's perfect as a little world to get lost in, just having a mooch about hunting animals and saving damsels and the like.

Loved it. Yes it’s big and daunting at times. I have completed it but got more from it when I was just exploring, bonding with my horse, hunting etc. Didn’t really get on with the fishing. I liked most of the story and some of side missions. Thought the character of Arthur was excellent and loved the way Dutch’s character changed as game went on.

Finished it today. Immediate reaction is that I preferred red dead redemption. Ended up just trying to speed through the story but you ending up losing some of the immersion in the world. It would have taken me another few months if I kept doing side missions etc. Looking forward to days gone now.

I really hope that's good, it had my interest since the original video but the silence and delay have worried me a bit.

Without ruining it, does the Dinosaur Bones side mission become apparent? Have no idea how to start that :'D

I might restart the game and pay more attention to what's happening. I haven't played it for months and got up to the point between the two families.

I think you come across the female palaeontologist whilst you are at the camp near Valentine. All she does is ask you to send on bones via the post office/stations when you find them. I only found 3 in the wilds...a couple others I looked up on internet. Others...didn’t bother.
Same is true with dream catchers...found about half of them whilst exploring but didn’t bother with all. Will do if I play it all again.

The palaeontologist is on (just off the road by some rocks) the road south and east of the camp. Or that’s where I found her.
