Only one Coventry City player in history has scored at least one league goal for the club in 10 consecutive top flight seasons. Who can name him?

For 2 bonus points, can you name the only player to score in 9 consecutive seasons and the only player to score in 8?

Randomly I’m going for mick coop

Brian Borrows? He didn't score many but he played long enough.

Mick Ferguson would be 8 I’d guess

Micky gynn

Interestingly despite playing for the club for 12 seasons (85/86-96/97) he only scored in 5 of them. Of the 11 league goals he did score, 6 of them were in the same season (90/91).

One of those being “a goal that Josimar of Brazil would have been proud of” according to Jim Rosenthal

George Mason purely for longevity would have been a decent shout too - But it would appear CH's weren't utilised in a set piece attacking mode much back then.
Six goals in twenty years at the club!

Villa away?
A daisy cutter with perfect curl. A beautiful goal.

Remember we missed a few sitters in that game, too.

That's the only open play goal that sticks in my mind for Borrows; the others were free-kicks and pens.

Didn't he score a goal from open play when we beat Liverpool 5-1?

Lay off by Gallacher from a free kick. Love that goal. Gallacher was moaning about the position of the Liverpool wall as he slid the ball to borrows. Was enough to put them off momentarily.
