I second that. Damned if you do or dammed if you don't for the ACL person. At least he keeps us fans in the loop via here and radio. When was the last SISU gave us fans something concerate instead of the hogwash of moving to rushden and diamonds.

I thought the Higgs had an agreed price of £10m but I think this may be incorrect as they have the right to raise the price in line with acl profit margins and inflation etc...
However I do believe the option to buy from Higgs runs out in 2015 or 2016?

I would just like to ask those who see ACL/Council/Alan Higgs Trust as the bad boys in all this, where they would have liked CCFC to have played their fixtures for the last 10 years.
Presumably the above were the bad boys when CCFC sold everything it owned including the ability to sell hot and cold drinks to its customers.

It's not a certaintity. It's possible that sisu will willingly hand over the share voluntarily. Are you saying they are an altruistic bunch?

Pity the13m in rent over that period has mot covered it. Poor poor acl, how have they cooed, particularly with all that associated arena income plus parking and events. I imagine they are well out of pocket.

Just get copies of the last 5 years accounts for ACL to understand their financial requirements. Where they have made excessive profit they have reinvested it in the complex. Their average profit tends to be around the mark being offered in a reduction to SISU meaning they will roughly break even going forwards.

I think the wider picture shows you are right to a certain extent.
ACL don't have the money or are able to bring in a partner to develop the surrounding land because their profit share reduces if they sold their part. The Higgs share they can't buy!

No! It's minus 10 when administration kicks in and minus 15 when we come out as sisu need to agree to the new owners. If not we have a non voluntary CVA which is 15 points minimum.
If the ruling is adjourned on the 22nd all 25 points wi be next season. This has happened to both Luton and Leeds who had the councils preferred administrator as theirs.

Maybe what they could do then is to get in a figurehead who genuinely wants to reach agreement, take up their Higgs share option; thereby increasing turnover, taking us out of embargo this season (as accounts could be filed with the rent issue cleared) and into next. Just an idea....

It has now even been admitted by those in favour if ACL's stance that the primary reason for administration is the possibility that someone may be in the background prepared to pay their bills.
The Evo stick league thing ins dubious at best. Where on earth in the football league ruled does it say that? My understanding is the club could apply for conference league at worst. Starting on minus 25 means we are one league off there soon anyway and who in earth will buy a season ticket next season with knowledge relegation is certain?
This is why administration has to be avoided. ACL are interested in themselves. If the club collapses as a consequence so be it.
Cough cough look at Stockport and Luton. Stuck in that league due to bad management at the top. We could end the same way. No way would liquidation be better then admin.

Factually not accurate. Leeds and Palace were placed in administration in the same League they now are in. Southampton were taken over by a billionaire.
65% of clubs end up worse off from the League they start administration in.
Given a likely 25 points reduction conference football will soon be inevitable -- if the Council are prepared to let the club play non league football there of course.

Luton were not liquidated they went into administration and guess what -- the council want the administrator who looked after them to look after us. Not your day is it?

Even OSB acknowledged this is a distinct possibility.

Teams like Southampton had a Billionaire come in and take over and there was talk that it was to do with his company trying to win lucrative contracts within the Southampton area.
Unless we have a billionare lined up, we're in a completely different situation.
