Team looks tired, jaded and has totally run out of steam. Lack of squad depth and lack of plan B in tactics/game management is costing us. Players just look scared and unsure of themselves at the moment.

CM is definitely needed but getting a new centre back is arguably more important now before the window closes
Or he needs to trust and give Woolfenden a run. He's the only player in th squad that's experienced promotion from the championship. As underwhelming as he's been, we're really lacking leadership out there.

Confidence is shattered within the squad, no away win since Boro in November. Has the pressure got to the players? This weekend is absolutely massive; we need 3 players and not just ones for the future. We need a quality CM, LB & CH or else it’s the playoffs again and we all know how that goes….

Some of the defensive decision making errors are so basic. For their first goal, Kitching, after failing with initial header, decides to press the ball, whilst DaSilva is already in a advanced position. Leaves a gaping space behind for them to exploit, which they did.

I don't normally come on here after a loss as people have a tendency to overreact but I'm strapping myself in and embracing it.

It's been literal months now since we've played well.

Lampard needs to earn his money now. All the goals in the first half of the season will mean absolutely f*ck all if we don't see the job out.

It feels like we've been found out, sit someone on Grimes and then we just hoof it.

I still don't get how tired is an excuse.
I don’t either, but it’s just the way they look. Tired, bored, not interested. Maybe it’s too much pressure? Can’t put my finger on it, but it’s very frustrating.

I understand you are a positive poster regardless but unfortunately the writing is on. the wall
I'm just saying how I see it rather than blind positivity. I'm aware things are not going well right now but in Feb I can see us bouncing back

I could see Boro going on a run like this a month ago or so if you go through my post history. And I can see cov having a bounce back February

That's the other option, he can't be any worse than Thomas and Kitch at the moment but if Lampard doesn't rate him we need to spend.

Partly mentally. The "we can't blow this, can we?" cracks have gradually become fissures. Also physically though as I think we really came out the traps giving it everything we had-we looked the fittest team in the league until November.

I really don’t think it can be blamed on the team being tired or jaded. In reality we have have options off the bench and have had nearly a week between games for the last 2. It’s just poor performances week in week out

Post match presser bingo.

“Got to remember where we are”
“Full weeks training ahead of us to improve”
“We’ve got X games to go”

Can you stop being so modest and just enjoy us opening the door for Boro to stroll unchallenged through?
I'm enjoying our resurgence, I'd be stupid not to.

But we could finish 1st or 2nd and I truly wouldn't be bothered, right now we aren't the side for you to focus on and I'm not too focused on our points in relation to yours either. From our perspective it was important that we get them in the bag (now if we can turn over Ham Sandwich face's mob to make it 6 wins, conquerors of Ipswich no less, and get some breathing space between us and the chasing pack I'll not feel quite as nervous), before our inevitable loss at the CBS that is close to being written in the stars. In between you have a lot more winnable game when Oxford come to visit.

The gap to 3rd is everything, bollocks to the shiny pot of finishing top. Ipswich are finally having their turn at the good old fashioned wobble it seems and now they enter a run of aways....From nowhere though, I'm suddenly giving a lot more respect to Hull. They've now jumped Ipswich with the same number of games played and their game in hand on Tuesday is the start of 4 home games on the bounce for them, with Derby being the only one of these currently in the top 8. They could feasibly with their respective runs actually open up a gap on the tractors in this period and the aim for both our sides is the same; the need to make sure they don't close that gap to us by more than we'd like.

It's a rollercoaster ride this championship lark!🥵

One of my favourite performances this year was Wednesday where when we found we couldnt play around them.

We started to play direct into the channels and press high ending up having less possession than Wednesday.

Where is that adaptation now

Perhaps looking at the table now will focus their minds, I think the cushion has caused complacency amongst the players.
