I’ve just got back to my coach
I didn’t boo them or clap them
I follow my team with passion and pride week in and week out but I saw nothing of that on the pitch today
This was worse than norwich
I really don’t know what the Barnsley boys are playing at
We can’t seem to want to attack with purpose or with speed
It summed it up with me when grimes in the last minute played the ball too hard and out of play
I don’t know the answer all I know is this isn’t my team at the moment
Did they get booed?

Away form needs sorting out, that’s our issue 100%. About 10 points dropped from winning positions since December.

If we lose to Oxford I think there's a chance that King might make a managerial change. I know it seems wild, but that would be a real low point. This is possibly a once in a generation opportunity to get out of this league. If we don't go up this year we could spiral a bit. If you look at the teams likely to come down, plus the parachute teams like Southampton who should be stronger next year, and the like of Wrexham & Birmingham going for it - will be very difficult to get top 6 next year.
I don’t think King will as he will end up with egg on his face. But your point regarding next season is very much valid.

Its just simple shit. Their first is us doing one touch footy, fine. But its a loose one from esse and kitching has to come forward to clear the header. He does but there's the mistake.

A) out for a throw. Re set. Start again
B) hes won the header but then charges forward and dives in, they skip around him and we're beaten

Yep. Been quite calm up till now.

fucking panic button pressed. Biggest concern, and the general player malaise is worrying…..Lampard et al - same pattern for weeks, everyone can see it, he must, he’s not stupid, yet here we are? Bat shit mental stuff….. how has Woolfenden for example not got game when the pair of them are just calamity double act.
The midfield is just a mess

felt so sorry for Simms today, utter shit punted at his waist, idiot behind demanding he kill it dead - yet he will be a scape goat.

God we are in a hole…….
There was a ball punted up landed about 40 yards from him and a bloke by me shouted ffs Simms😂

Works both ways though. Thought Rudoni waving his hands at the fans today was taking the piss. How about you put some fucking effort in and give us something to believe in?

Every player needs to look at himself after the last few weeks. Petulance and suspensions, lack of responsibility etc.
For me though, it’s quite simple, these lads need redirection from the manager with new tactics . Our former efforts took a lot of teams by surprise but opponents sit back and look at reruns of our games and learn to thwart us.
It’s over to Frank to sort it out…for a start the long throws are causing us more problems than the opposition now.

Incredibly frustrating again. I don't mind us losing games, if there has been some sort of fight put up. It's clear though that our earlier confidence has taken a massive hit.

We have become so pedestrian in our passing again, it's frustrating to watch.

The strikers become the scape goat when we play like this, but it's not their fault.
Granted, a great ball in for Eccles' goal, but twice in the first half Rudi could and should have put a through ball in to Simms but chose to keep running out wide with the ball, only for us to end up losing possession / check back.
I feel that the only 2 players who have the confidence to make those type of passes at the moment are Esse and Torp.
When we do attempt to get a ball in to the front line, they are rocketing the ball at them.
Simms had some good knock down headers but nobody close enough to him to collect them, or the player gathering them lost possession.
Wright was unable to make an impactful cameo for the exact same reasons.

Esse when he came on looked to take on a man and get a cross straight in, other than that it was lame build up play. Too much checking back.
We were leisurely passing the ball around the back when losing, zero urgency which is concerning.

From what we have to choose from, i would bring Lati back into the defence for Oxford. We beat both Millwall and Leicester with him in the team and something needs to change at the back.
I'd like to see us make some basic changes, stop bringing MVE over to the left hand side for long throws, get Sakamoto / Rudoni on corners, our inability to beat the first man on set pieces is tedious.
Trying something different from set pieces wouldn't go amiss either.

I'd love to see us try something different / inventive.
It would never happen but If EMC is unable to play, i'd like to see Wright on the left and Esse in the 10 for Oxford. We have become predictable, with the same line up and same generic changes. We need some sort of element of surprise moving forward.
If we manage to bring Onyeka in, i'd stick him straight in and give Grimes a rest, he looks shattered.

Yes we have seen a favourable lead slip, but they have to stand up now and show us what they are made of.
They've done incredibly well to get to this position, i hope they can hold their nerve and see it through.
Oh to be a Coventry City fan. Will turn up to support them as always.

Can I also just say, whoever posted hoping for the team bus to crash, have a long hard look at yourself. I don’t care how angry you are, there is NO excuse for writing that.
