Qatar World Cup 2022

[Mcbean]

Impressive for a Donkey to be their all time top scorer.

Don’t mention that trying to build up some invincibility

For that I think you will need a cloak.

I think we can win, but McGuire in particular will need to be a lot better than he has been. Walker vs Mbappe will be a key matchup and I think he’s got the best chance of anyone of handling him. I only saw the France goals but Poland seemed to give him far too much space.

He had time to grab a cigar, light it and have two puffs before he decided to take the shot.

Wouldn't even know McGuire's been on the pitch up to now, that's how bad McGuire's been!

[Earlsdon_Skyblue1]

Ronaldo again...

Portugal coach Santos unimpressed with Ronaldo’s reaction leaving pitch

Cristiano Ronaldo angrily gestured as he left the pitch during the Group H match against South Korea and the Portugal head coach, Fernando Santos, refused to confirm the striker would be captain against Switzerland

If they could score, and defend crosses*

[wingy]

1-1.
Great header

[Earlsdon_Skyblue1]

Why do Spurs play Perisic at wing back? Ridiculous.

That was a fantastic goal.

[wingy]

Chances both ends now
Great

[wingy]

That was a brilliant run and effort

Terrible first penalty

[Deleted member 5849]

In fact, penalties this world cup have generally been pretty awful.

[jordan210]

Think Japan need to practise pens. theses are awful

[Johnnythespider]

Japan taking the worst set of pens in history

[Earlsdon_Skyblue1]

Japan and end product summed up by their abysmal penalties. Such a frustrating bunch of players to watch.

[Nick]

Brazil one nil up already.

[Nick]

Spend about 5 minutes dancing.

[Nick]

Penalty for Brazil although I'm not sure he even touched him.

Wonder if VAR will be looking closely. Course not, it's Brazil.

[jordan210]

Does VAR not work for Brazil. Player dives no review

Said it from the start, something isn't right with it.

It was given and that was that, no check.

[ProfessorbyGrace]

Gutting for South Korea, that penalty decision was shocking. Brazil mean business though.

Did fear this might be a walk in the park. We needed Uruguay to go through really to two foot em a bit.

Messi,Ronaldo and Naymar all gifted pens
