“If you have a modern stadium and modern training facilities it goes a long way."

Grendel I assume he is talking rubbish. Or are you going to finally admit you were wrong and it does have some bearing when it comes to signing players?

I would say it has some bearing, but only where the wages and length of contract being offered are equal. I can't think of any professional player that would willingly play for less money just because they can play in a nice arena for 35 hours a season.

"players still wanting join the club"

Now, is that the current players we didn't offer contracts to, or players from other teams that you are working tirelessly on getting, but haven't offered anyone a contract. ?

There are going to be umpteen players out of work so of cause they will be eager to join the question to ask though is why are they out of work

No bearing on anything as anyone who is offered a wage by another club willl not be coming to ours

Having been born in Coventry and having been a fan since childhood....I can honestly say they wouldn't appeal to me at the moment unless it was the only offer I had.
