It’s been a while since I was there, but it was still a shithole!!

One thing is for sure, KKH is no replacement for MvE. So many times last night he passed to Saka then stood watching him, whereas Milan will go on the overlap and make more space. KKH seemed to occupy the room Saka needed and forced him inside so many times, when a run outside would have been a better option. Perhaps he's doing what Frank tells him but it was noticeable.

Looked to me like KKH was the preferred inside “underlap” as instead of as you said going round outside he was cutting in or sitting more narrow

Thought Haji looked sharp last night. Much improved from his last 2-3 appearances before the last International break. Saying that though, Ellis Simms should not have been dropped. Frank should have played 5-3-2 (as we did last season for a spell) with Simms & Wright as the front 2, and a 3 man midfield. It wasn't a game for Sakamoto.
Thought I spotted a bit of frostiness from Frank to Haji when he came off. I know he was partly to blame for their equaliser, but I've seen far worse Haji Wright performances than last night.

All bark and no bite against 10 men. Rudoni looked way off as was his shooting. His 'goal' would have missed bar the deflection. Fact is we have been better without him in the team. BTA was covering Rudi when he was out injured but was playing out of position but in effect we had two strikers with BTA playing and only one with Rudi in it. Go figure...

Christ, the ease at which people turn on players. Mental.

I dont think he’s fully fit or sharp yet, when he gets back properly he’ll show his quality

Generally I thought Wright was off it and didn’t look that arsed but granted he came into it gradually. Had 2 chances from memory and was involved in their red as well as a disallowed goal but I agree, Simms shouldn’t have been dropped.

Hes on his way back to form, I can sense it.

The latest Opta computer prediction for the Championship now has us finishing top, Middlesbrough second and Ipswich third.

Now that the outcome is known, I think the EFL should end the season now so that we can start preparing for life in the Premier League.

I havent turned on him. Just saying how j saw him last night

He was more involved and is coming back to fitness. I just don't know why it was down to him to chase the wide player making the cross for the goal - its EMC and Dasilva who should have been there

Let's never bring a player back from injury again i guess.
Clearly you believe in reputation over form. Admiittedly we are down to vare bones but we cant bring players back in just to get them up to speed. They need to hit the ground running

Sickness bug doing rounds in squad.....

which again, means theres likely players, playing not 100% - another reason we all just need to keep supporting them, rather than reacting to any slight hiccup, theres going to be loads more bumps and plenty of ups also!

So let's have a sweepstake, who's going to be out this Saturday. 😡

What are you on about? Who were you playing instead? As for form, you need to allow players to get back up to speed from long injuries. It's nonsense honestly.

Didn't even think he was too bad. Still looks comfortable on the ball, way more than any of the others. Just needs time to get back to his best. We can't allow that though so i guess we just never play him again?

- Despite our incredible run this season, we never beat parachute teams - ever.
Are Sheffield United not a parachute team?

Plus you'd expect clubs with vasty greater resources to beat us more often than not. Not sure that's much of a stick to beat us with, really.

No ones hitting the ground running after 2 months out, that's one of the maddest takes I've read on here, and I've read a few.

No one's mentioned Sakamoto performance last night, I think that was his worst performance for us, one decent pass all game.

I see what you're saying, but, it's about upper body strength, a Neil Martin or a Mick Ferguson would not let the Defender pushed them around. 🤔
Great players for us those two, but I do think people are being unfair on Haji for that chance, even the Sky commentators. Take a look at the highlights again, Haji has his back to goal, the ball bounces between him and the goal (probably wind assisted) he has to turn and dive at it. Watch their no. 14 player's arm movement and tell me that isn't a penalty.

I knew all it would take was a minor inconvenience for the mental takes to come out again. Lampard and his coaching staff with shit tactics, defenders totally awful, Rudoni must never play again etc etc...

Correct - Rudoni tracked the runner, but didn’t inconvenience him. JDS did what all our inside defenders have done since Frank arrived and protected the space (watch Thomas, Grimes and Kitching do it every game). it’s hilarious that JDS is being given the blame.
Once the player has clearly got the run on Rudoni JDS has to engage him. The three players you mention are central defenders and a central midfielder FYI

It's just stating the obvious, Re tactics, let's hope it's a one-off and lessons learned. 🤔

Probably the same people who’ve spent the season rimming Birmingham and Wrexham

I think we are maybe being a harsh. There is obviously illness in the camp. Torp and then MVE.

We have no idea who else has been affected.

Was Simms dropped, or was he one who maybe has been suffering?

Guess we may never know, because FL isn't going to be blurting that kind of info about

We are always saying players have been dropped, but they could just as easily be carrying a knock, or suffering through illness.

Hope everyone is in good health for Saturday and no other players succumb.

Some serious rimming of Birmingham has happened this season and the shit fuckers are 16 points behind us! Unfortunately for them home wins don't count as double, they are genuinely appalling away.
