A lot of people don’t want to hear it but I agree with other supports that the difference this year is that the Championship is actually a lot weaker than usual. We have enormously over achieved for the squad size and level we have. We haven’t really performed to an excellent standard for a number of games now. In an ordinary season of the last 10 years this team would probably be knocking around 4th - 7th. It would be the greatest collapse in championship history yes. But do we have the level of squad/depth an ordinary parachute league leader has had. No. This will be a monumental scrap to keep our place in the top 2.Of course we’ll have blown if it we don’t go up automatically. We had 43 points and were 12 points clear of 3rd after 18 games ffs. It would be the greatest collapse in Championship history and would be an utter failure if it happened.

Agreed. We are 5 points ahead. It’s a great place to be. Several teams have hit form but they will hit the buffers at some point. It’s a great league and we deserve to be where we are. PUSBGlad fans are not having a meltdown FFS.
