Things went a bit pear shaped at Ross Co in the end but Adams got them promoted 2 divisions, got a 40 game unbeaten run under his belt and got attendances up. Did a lot better than Pressley at the same (at the start lower) level. Like SP he would be very motivated but he actually has a bit of managerial ability to go with it. All hypothetical as I think Pressley will be with us for the foreseeable unless relegation looks probable.
Also a good number of managers who've looked promising in Scotland and failed to cut it here...
So Simeon Jackson was being touted for a loan then next thing I see is that he is nows on the bench! Do you think SP was trying to do an Alex Ferguson stunt and Waggot told him he has to play him , why the U turn one might ask

Sisu have said Championship football would not work with the club renting the Ricoh?, so maybe league 2 football would fit in with sisu plans and Pressley is the man to do that job.
I can't believe the talk for changing the manager yet again. SP has been having a bad run since Reda's red card and the fall out issues but now sorted we have improved, a win away and a draw against a mean defence. It's a positive start to improving. We are 'breeding' the youngster's into the team and that looks good on the future. It will take time but the behind the scenes changes are almost just as important as what is happening on the pitch just now.
Some say Robins was great but he went to Huddersfield and he fell apart there....you don't think that could have happened at the City had he stayed? managers at this level are like players, some turn out good others fall by the wayside. In SP we have a true football man who will grow with the club. I don't think he is a disaster by any means.
I watched yesterday and saw a side work hard for the shirt. They did not have any luck when we needed it either. People talk about Walsall who are on a very good run, as being far inferior on paper than us and they are. I can't remember Allsop being forced into a save? Madine hit a cracking shot which surprised their keeper and we had that header goal bound in the first half and on another day they were goals. A stonewall penalty denied may have transformed the game. We had a tough day at the office but we never lost. Football when you are struggling for form is not easy but we kept another clean sheet, could easily have come out winners on another day and we still did that with a poor midfield.
What I liked was we were outplayed for 30 minutes but we stuck at it and came back the stronger of the two teams.
I want SP to utilise his players better, not sure he is doing that right now. But opinion is different for all of us.
I see no gain in changing manager and should stick with the man we brought in to change the whole philosophy at this football club.
Time will pay dividends. We are lacking obvious problems in midfield and I will watch closely how SP deals with that and the loan window available.
