It's pretty frightening thinking what we'll be up against next season.

They were shocking again really, parallels to Leicester’s relegation from the PL under Rodgers.

Sunderland however have made some fantastic signings. Xhaka, Sadiki, Brobbey, Mukiele etc., light years from the team we played in the play offs last season. They look a proper premier league outfit.

Always massively over-rated IMO. Distinctly average player playing for very good teams. Once he doesn't have that quality around him and has to step up, he shows how average he is.

Could always point at that Palace season to show his capability but that’s getting longer and longer ago. I do also think he’s more in the mould of a ‘defensive 10’ than a deep lying midfielder and that’s done him in a bit.
